dude you parents are stupid! why would you give your kids 250 to get a wii and they might misuse the money for something else! and 250 isn't enough for the wii. when i got mine it was like 250 bucks + tax which adds up to 285 dollars. not lying.

The 250 dollars was symbolic. They gave it back to us and we paid for the Wii with a credit card. Since we're with them every second of their lives outside of school, they wouldn't be able to misuse the money anyway. Also, there is no sales tax in our state.
