  • @3DSFuture let me guess, big fat mouthed loud american, hiding behind his keyboard that assumes the world ends at your own borders?

  • lol nice english accent

  • i need help, i have autodesk 3d max design 2011, but when i use the spot light, nothing happen. no shadows, no light, no nothing, can you help me?

  • @SEDILEXRE5 After you check the "Shadows On" box and pick the type from the drop down, click on the button that says "Exclude". Another window will come up, then make sure you click "Include" in the top right, then move everything over so it is all on the right. Click ok and then render it. Don't worry I had the same problem when I started using 3DS Max.

  • In the File Section of Aries-Films you can download everything you need to create your videos and go even further. Just google for Aries-Films

  • when i add a light in the whole of my preview screen goes black please help

  • thx pal I make now better lookin animation bec of Ur vid ^^

  • Cool! you have anything on applying shadows to textures? this works with shapes but it wont show on my textures unless i draw a plane. I want a shadow that will appear when a hand is over a stomach or hip.

  • 3DS MAX, ROCK ON!!!

i think i've got the hang of it now...

  • Excellent tutorial! But when you create an animation how do you apply the shadows? Mine renders with shadows but when i create an animation the shadows go?

  • You should put a trace mark on your mouse because its really hard to see and follow

  • thats why you can download the full higher quality version from my site

  • I can't learn how to use this program its to fucking Hard!!!

  • 3ds max it's simple... try learning blender :|

  • 2nd that, Blender seems to be as logical as Hitchiker's guide to galaxy, but maybe it is because I have started learning with 3D-Studio which became Max when they made it for Windows.

And still I can't do much with it, it would require really intense learning, my on and off style has not been perhaps best possible way :)

Need to keep trying with Blender as keeping Max upgraded feels bit expensive for what I use it for.

  • yeh blender s inter

  • if you can't add shadows then forget about being 3d animator :P because its easy as ABCD

  • Its not the shadows its the entire program that is just really complicated

  • yeah but if you knew this program like a pro then you can deal with any other 3d program :) so its a big task for every body !
