I believe Ventures titled it "Spudnik", but the Lively Ones is the best known version. Good one.

Really nice job on this. I like how your drummer added that classic hesitation two beat accent on the snare hits. It really is the correct feel for the song. I need to polish that up a bit. My band covers this as well. To me, this tune is the consummate "surf vibe" song of the century. ~The Lee Riders drummer
