@TheRedButterfiy i like AA and MMI but i have to say that live AA sucks and is quite "weak" call me what you will but its the truth, AA is an incredible studio band but live they are horrible, on the other hand MMI is godly, me n friends got 2nd row at warped tour in Detroit and we got to sing in the mic with Levi and 1 of my friends got to keep the official giant band beach volleyball, Fuckn life-changing.....

ok let me start off with this. i was NOT a fan of Miss May I's first album, although the 2 singles and the title track weren't that bad. then i bought Monument. i thought "well, they stepped it up a notch. its better than the first." obviously wasn't too thrilled. now this is my first time listening to this track and i gotta say, this is fucking awesome. So much energy and the vocals arent annoyin hollow howls like on the first album. it's very fun and I love the complexity. this is great.

People complain when bands change their sound, and then when Miss May I keeps the sound everyone likes, no one likes it. MAKE YOUR MINDS LADIES I THINK THIS SOUNDS FANTASIC. Not to mention this is a re-issue of an album, so they're probably going for the same sound..

If you hear one song, you're like "This is fucking awesome". Then you hear another, and it's still awesome, but it sounds almost exactly the same. There's a difference between forming a new sound, and having variety. And to be a good band, you need variety.

@asdfghjkl4099 your totally right about variety dude no question about it, but in MY opinion, i think Miss May I has dialed in their sound, and it sounds fucking amazing, i think if they tried to change it up, id be sad, cause they're soo good at doing what they are doing now, i think Miss May I is one of those bands that shouldnt try and stray to far from their roots.
