I think Mia did fit. Cause they weren't focusing on Alice at all, but the other characters! Alice is suppose to be a misunderstood teen who escapes to her imagination, and once coming back is more stronger and independent. Sticking up for herself in many ways, even without knowing someone she never met, she's still strong.

@idontwanttokillyou1 That's true, tim burton's casting was always perfect. It's just this once that I wasn't happy. She looks too rough, I guess, for the part? I don't know, in my opinion Alice should've been played by someone who looks softer. That way in the end it would've created a much more dramatic effect when she slashed the jabberwockey. Mia Wasikowska kind of already had that look that she'd be able to take something like that on. I don't know, the character just doesn't suit her.
