  • At least a German didn't rush out of the crowd and stab Rodionova. The Germans are making progress,

  • omg and everyone just stands there looking wtf ? are all those ppl retarded or drunk ?

  • they just stand there...

  • Yes, let's sign autographs while my opponent is writhing in pain.... WTF?

  • @kljMN2

Why not? The Match was over and she's not a doctor or something. It was obvious that she had a ankle injury and Rodionova didn't started clapping also.Should she say no to a fan?

  • thats a bit rough on match point getting injured.

  • to be fair to rodionova, she did look like she wanted to help but her opponent was crying and in lots of pain.it was a very difficult situation to handle but she really should have gone over there.

  • Here. I will place 100 towels next to you to make it all better...

  • im in the tennis side of youtube again :/

  • wow. very classless move by Rodionova

  • on the very last point ...

  • You can tell by his face afterwards and he has gear on him so that 99.99999999% means that was him who said " just grab a leg and pull her off"

  • @gavinwatkinsify it was the man on the right at 3:52 - 3:56

  • And Rodionova just goes to sign autographs?? And how long does it take to get a fricken weelchair up in there!!?? This is just wrong... I hope she does well in the U.S. Open

  • "Oh she hurt herself, lets all stand around and watch her."

  • their EMS sucks, must be privatized...

  • I watched this match LIVE on 2009. Poor girl, happend the same thing to me

  • I,m always suprised about the fact that it takes an hour to give medical attention to professional tennisplayers at a professional tennis tournement. This is something we do even better at our local tennisclub ....

  • abracadabra SHAZAM i pulled a tennis ball out off my ass

  • Radionova. What a slag.

  • that lazy bitch just cost me money by losing to a FUCKIN NOBODY

  • Is this the injury that kept her outta the game for over a year?

  • @renmayling No, this injury kept her out of the game for like 3 days. It wasn't even a sprain, lol.

  • Am Boden sagt sie: SCHEISSE! WARUM HAB ICH WEGEN DIESEM DRECK MEIN STUDIUM ABGEBROCHEN! HERRGOTTZACKRAMENT NOCHMAL! Jetzt ist das Knie im Oarsch.

  • Radionova is a bit mean

  • Where is the fucking medical staff??? There's probably more doctors in the crowd than what they had for the tournament, she could have been seriously injured. Stupid us open yuppie fucks.

  • Crazy how Rodionova doesn't even go to stay by Sabine's side while she's obviously not fine and prefers to leave her alone.

  • @MissWeHo That's tennis for you, that "everyone for himself" mentality.

  • What i don't like is some guy - obviously a match official at 3:50 (just after we see Rodionova signing away) says - "grab the other leg and just drag her off"!!!! Disgusting. Sabine - i hope you look at this again and someone can find out who that was saying that.

  • What i don't like is some guy - obviously a match official at 4:04 (just after we see Rodionova signing away) says - "grab the other leg and just drag her off"!!!! Disgusting. Sabine - i hope you look at this again and someone can find out who that was saying that.

  • where is the fucking doctor????

  • lisicki's opponent is just an animal

  • obviously congrats to the opponent on the victory by I'm still astounded by the fact that she didn't even go over to console a fellow professional in an obvious desperate moment of pain. she was more occupied with autograph signing and talking to the cameras. quite incredible but i have also experienced this at club level. very shameful.

  • @recruitmentch I couldn't agree more. When Vika passed out at the USO last year, Dulko went to see her straight away and helped.

  • And they (ref. to the buncha stupido's) obviously didn want to get her medical help cuz of some reason and you here Lisicki crying in agony at 2:01- "the match is over!... The match is over... I don't care!"

  • You can poor Sabine say at about 1:05- " i think i sprained my ankle" the fat-ass lady obviously gave a dumb repy cuz after that she said "otherwise i wouldn't be [lying here] on the court"

  • Poor Sabine! How callous of them all to just stand there for a minute when the poor girls crying in agony.

  • How much time it took for the medical help to arrive? ridiculous.

  • MMM Again Sabine injuried on match point against? Too much coincidence..Sorry but i don't trust her

  • @vmbernal very strange... didn´t you see the replay?? look at her feet!!

  • Wowww how heartless is Rodionova? Doesn't go over to say ANYTHING to Sabine?! Oh well, she's going to do awesome at this US Open anyways... Go Sabine!!

  • @zozotennisfreak and she does an interview or gets ready to do one -_______-

  • great legs hehe

  • I really hate the guys just standing there like idiots when she is hurt. I mean srsly they could do something. God

  • kakvo deriste razmazeno

  • sta stronza va via come se fosse successo nulla! firma gli aiutografi ecc. e dopo bisogna parlare di ferplay o come si chiama. io bho!

  • fuck rodionova. heartless classless. sabine broke her damn ankle and all she can think about is her victory. have some damn respect for a fellow player. jackass. God forbid Caro ever gets seriously injured. i would cry, thats my girl right there. o and for the record shes gonna win the U.S. Open this year. lets go Caroooooooooo:)

  • @rangerscowboys3209 It's highly unlikely she'll, her performance has been even below sub-par during this half of the season. Hard hitters have figured her out, she initially never even had any weapons to dominate, her defense was just on fire. Now she has nearly nothing, unless she has a really really good draw, she probably won't even make the final. The surface no long favors her, and the top players are improving, not to mention Serena is back, and Sharapova is having a good season too.

  • Holy shit, the replay at 1:44 oh my godness.. :(

  • I wonder why tennis is the only sport that doesn't offer a first aid team! In every other sport you see them running in on the court to help! But here, they just stand around and wait for God or something!

  • @nymerie i believe you can call for a trainer 3 times, and that's it, you can't call for the trainer again as you're forced to forfeit. but in this case the match was already over, so i guess rodionova wanted applause and a handshake.. it's still low though.

  • great job trainers...don't rush out there. If that was MLB, there'd be trainers there in 2 seconds.

  • that opponent is mean and cruel the girl broke her leg and she is there signing autographs and not caring....

  • awkward situation. 30 second just after she got herself injured were spent by no one doing anything

  • What an awkward situation for rodionova.

  • its nobody s fault that she is fat and bitchy

  • @dekeke999 what? stupid of you to say

  • its nobody s fault that she is fat

  • im sorry but just look at that tan

  • @kumar01234 ur a fucking dick.

  • it is not believable to see this kind of thing, there is a player who is wounded and nobody does not react, this moron with his telephone, it is quiet and it does not seem too much to press the doctor to come

  • Ouch. That stupid bitch in the back didn't do anything. He was just standing there.

  • she did good with that little cry. when i tore my ATL in high school, I was crying, screaming, and crusing. That injury sticks with you too cause after 7 years, if I walk long distances, I have to wear a knee brace cause the pain will come strong.

  • When we play tennis somtimes happens we twist the ancle .

we suffer for 5 to 10 minutes and walk a bit on the ancle and then play again .

    cry baby .

  • @aviramdj sometimes..you are a moron. learn to spell! insensitive asshole.

  • nice ass.....

  • she is too fat thats why

  • wow, response fail, how awkward is that with everyone standing there clueless, while she is crying loud enoguh for the entire stadium to hear :/

  • It is strange to want to favourite and like this video?

  • Sabine is like the nicest and sweetestt girl on the WTA tour, God I love her! while Rodianova is a bitch. Funnily I doubt if Rodianova got injured there would be much sympathy for her. Sabine is far more loved than Rodianova hahaha.

  • Look at the score when the injury happened, Rodionova was on match piont - she porbably thought that Sabine was exaggerating. The truth of the matter is that she had to be on crutches for 8 months after this.

  • lisicki messes up her ankle BIG time and her opponent basks in the glory of her victory (i.e. clapping her racket after the open court winner and pretending to check on her opponent). pure class

  • IS THIS A GS TOURNAMENT? LOOKS LIKE A 50K BUDGET CHALLENGER TOURNAMNET, FUCKIN UMPIRE AND ALL THE STAFF, FUCK THEM ALL.

  • I am shocked hello assholes you did see her twist her ankle badly right wow thats messed up the reaction time was horrible and the other player was a complete jackass

  • Oh, come on guys be polite please. Ok of course Rodionova had a bad attitude but it doesnt mean to insult her. But ouch for Lisick, poor girl. Thanks she is better now.

  • Rodionova has never been the warmest on court, what do people expect. Also some of Sabine's latter behaviour on tour haven't been the best either, like the gamesmanship exhibited in the doubles event at Wimbledon.

  • wtf, the opponent just leaves at the end, without checking how lisicki is doing.. what a bitch, never thought some people could be so obsessed with winning that they don't care how they do that...

  • The other tennis player was a fucking complete bitch. Prick..

  • Shocking way to treat a fellow pro. Sometimes the rules can stop people behaving in a decent manner.

  • Her opponent's attutude is disgraceful. Clearly this girl injured her ankle badly and all the other one cares is that she won the match? But life pays back. Sabine was a semifinalist at Wimbledon and the other idiot is a nobody.

  • her opponent is an asshole o_O

  • just watched this out of interest as I wanted to know what the injury was she sustained but I am appauled by the slow reaction to her injury do the people in the USA need eyes ? guess they must do to notice she was hurt shit me thank god it was not a heart attack or stroke poor girl would have died on the court get this SORTED USA organizers this is all wrong very wrong as for her opponent signing autographs and generally not taking an interest shows what a heartless cow she is, in a word MONEY

  • @Kai2oo6 Im not trying to stir anything im just saying the medical care of that match was very poor and it seemed that no one gave a fuck that she was injured. Disgraceful if you ask me, her dad even brought the ice over for her.

  • why is it taking so long for her to get the medical attention she needs???!

  • @Kai2oo6 but could they not see she was injured? Crying in pain and holding her leg on the floor, even a kid could see she's injured and needs medical help

  • @Kai2oo6 when football players get injured the medical come on the pitch straight away because its their job and they bring stretches just uncase they cant walk. But where were the professional medical team here? I didnt see them once, they must of not turned in for work that day. Even her dad got to her before the medical team and he was in the stands! They need to learn to act quickly and give a shit about the players, US Open one of the worst organised sports ive seen.

  • @Kai2oo6 invading her private space? She badly damaged her ankle and isnt that the medical teams job it help injured people out and treat them? Its abit shit if they learned that degree in health care just to stand and watch someone in pain on the floor when they have got trained to help them. So you telling me if she was badly hit on the head and knocked out they wouldnt invade her space to help her, they would just stand and wait for her to wake up?

  • bluffing!

  • @EITrollo someones not getting enough love at home....its ok one day you'll know what its like when people care for you

  • Stupid Rodionova, bitch. She can go fuck herself. Where is she now ? Nowhere !

And Sabine ? Yeah, she will be seeded at the US ^^

  • Sabine won Birmingham, made Wimbledon semi finals and is in the top 30. Where's Rodianova? hahaha. Go Sabine!

  • what are you all fussing about. she broke her fucking ankle, so what. she couldnt be helped by anybody's pity or silly questions. radionkova did a darn good job by ignoring the whiny bitch. what was she supposed to do, ask her "are you ok?". wtf? she could have hit her with a racket for all i care. she owned her anyway by winning the fucking game. lisicki was just pissed off cause she lost. and she got injured on a match point. define loser, lol. a sorry bitter loser, jejeje.

  • @EITrollo did you see how long it took for them to bring ice where did they go for it north pole? Look how Wimbledon is organised, they dont risk anything and get things done fast and professionally. Who cares if she lost against her, look how well she has done now, won the final at Birmingham, semi-final of wimbledon, and final of doubles at wimbledon. Where is Anastasia Rodionova? didnt see her at Wimbledon this year, must be working in McDonalds or something

  • wow, she's frustraded.....I can understand that...

  • i wish those legs were wrapped around my face

  • It's a bit of bad taste to sign autographs whilst the poor girls lying there injured isn't it?

  • that not cool radionova without even asking how it feels to beatiful Lisicki ='(

  • I hate how Rodionova is like, BS, and does her own thing. She could atleast check up on her! She looks like she's in real pain.

  • It's like no one cares?!?!!?

  • i love how Sabine just made the semis of wimbledon and Rodionova's down at No. 79 in the world. hahahaha

  • @nealekhan That didnt count for this match ;)

  • @bax7172 Well, I hope you got my sarcasm ;)

  • 0:45 "Oh look she injured herself. Let's stand around her with our arms at our hips and look stupid for a few seconds."

  • @googledoogle Yeah they looked really stupid not to mention Rodionova herself walking towards her, and deciding to just turn around and celebrate her victory :))

  • @googledoogle that usually bums me out too, but when people don't know much about medical stuff, it's best for them to just stay away... their presence there and asking if they're ok isn't gonna make it better.

  • @googledoogle I agree. The chair umpire is entirely to blame. The moment she saw Sabine down on the court crying the medical trainer should have been summoned. It should not have taken that long. I wanna strangle that fat lady.

  • @googledoogle haha it would be a nice vid if she suddenly stood up and sad 'just kiddin'

  • OMG are the medics on STRIKE???

  • ever heard of FIRST aid?????!!!!! Gosh, what's wrong with those guys?!

  • Wow...this is beyond lousy...this is inhuman...look at those sloppy bastards.A shocked Radionova has covered more miles than those assholes. And look at the whales cheering.Shame on the Americans.

  • wow.... US medical team are a fucking disgrace, i didnt know what to expecre just from the comments below but this is amazing, the girl is in sheer pain and theyre just standing watching, thats disgusting.

  • What a cow! She didn't even go over to ask if lisiki was okay! Bad sportsmanship...

  • Anastasia Rodionova ist ne dumme Sau statt gescheit hinzugehen und ihr zu helfen !!! wenigstens zu trösten ! Trotz aller Rivalität !! Ostblock -Sau

  • Where the fuck were the medical team? They just stood there and when someone came, there was no medical bag... just a towel. US Open should be ashamed of themselves.. mark60060 is right.

And those who were saying Sabine was a cry baby or a drama queen, I'd love for you all to play in one of the competitions of your lives and you injure yourself, then realize you can't play for the rest of the tournament. It was more than just pain. I'd be crying.

  • Comment removed

  • Turning your ankle over like that fucking kills

  • @jolandos I dont have any problem with crying and I dont know her but it seems to me that she likes crying a little bit too much and thats OK

if you answer to me with a personal attack again you wont have any reply from me :)

  • those bad days are gone... now she is back, won birmingham and is challenge sharapova in the semifinal of wimbledon tomorrow!

  • god, if I saw someone in that much pain, the least I would do is ask them if they were okay and stay with them rather than walk away and look indifferent.

  • Rodionova deserves oblivion!!!

  • Enemies in wars show more mercy ... ^^ R. seem to have autism...

  • Ar'******* B****

  • Why are you guys complaining about the medical team not arriving and all that? Don't you know the Americans are busy fightings wars across the world!!! ;)

  • I broke my ankle once and was crying just like she did.............and I'm a man.

  • Scheint keine Sau zu interessieren ,daß sie vor Schmerzen schreit.

  • bitch

  • lol @ rodionova watta bitch xD

  • Also, what is Rodionova doing, she just walks halfway there, doesn't even go and put a hand on her, then sits down and has a drink then walks off and signs some autographs!?

  • This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, she is clearly seriously injured, it takes about a minute for some fat lady to wander over, then she has to lay there for another couple of minutes before some guy with a bag of ice walks over, then a guy comes over with a towel!? Where's the medical team!?!?

  • wtf how long took it to get a medic there.. i could make an acutal medical degree in that time...

  • wtf??! sabine's laying over there terrified that it could be the end of her career, and you just sign autographs & waltz off without even seeing if she's ok....

  • this always happens to me, when i walk my ankle bends like that, when i run that sometimes happens but it really doesn't hurt that much to be honest.

  • @chelseablue111 / Medical explanation for that: As its habitual your ligaments have adapted in length and thus it's not to much painful anymore. Same with habitual luxation of the shoulder...

  • @jolandos Yeah, I'm known for not feeling much pain when I dislocate my knee and shoulder because I have so many times.

  • OUCH you can see her ancle bend 90 degree!!!!!! Shocker

  • im just so glad to see that sabine is back on the courts and doing so well. it's never easy to come back after serious injuries, and she has shown everyone that it's possible.

  • I can understand part of her opponent's reaction. She had just won the match and, instead of receiving a handshake and applause from the crowd, she just sees everyone looking at her opponent lying on the floor crying.. She may not even have understood at that point that she was injured.

Also, for those who reckon she was just a crybaby, this injury took her out of tennis for 7 months. Look at the injuries to Mary Pierce or Vera Zvonoreva if you want to see that these injuries hurt - A LOT

  • @Snooby66 / No excuse fro R's reaction. Go to her website and you'll find out, that she's an extremly arrogant person. Posted a critical comment (no personal attack). It was deleted immediately.

  • I've suffered the same whilst being thrown in combat sport...and that hurt and I cried like a baby just like sabine did here...everyone handles the shock and pain and emotional reaction differently...just glad she's now recovered and is doing well againin the sport she loves...i haven't been able to do my sport again, due to lack of confidence...sigh

  • Nobody seems to react nor give a shit about Lisicki's injury, including her opponent Cuntova. Is it USA or Pakistan here ??

  • @Papahitas Right because Pakistanis aren't people like you or I. Or at least they are inferior sub-humans compared to Americans who are chosen by Jesus to lead to world with their superior grace. But Pakistanis - They don't actually have compasion like real people...

  • @nomis101uk : That's exactly what I was trying to express, many thanks. Pakis (or Pak Pak as we usually call them) are just a bunch of cruel and ugly muslim terrorists.

  • @Papahitas It's filthy Jew USA, that's why no one cared.

  • @Papahitas Typical New Yorkers. They don't give a shit. Pieces of shit.

  • How long for the medics?

  • @jolandos It was not a ruptured tendon, it was a sprain. I've done it several times and yes, it really really hurts. But her reaction was an exaggeration that probably had more to do with losing. Also it pretty much always happens when you're tired. The video definitely doesn't deserve a "not for the squeamish" tag. I'm not a hater -- I love that she has a 120+mph serve. She's just a crybaby.

  • @err1umm / Showing emotions of weakness is real strength and makes a person authentic. 'Tough' people might get some respect. Authentic people get love.

  • Showing emotions of weakness is real strengh. Just being 'tough' is boring... The world doesn't need tough heros, who suppress their feelings, but people, who are authentic...

  • Fuck you Rodionova (cold and heartless) and US Open organization......I love you Sabine!!!!!!!!!

  • What do you mean, not for the squeamish? Looks like a garden variety ankle sprain, and then she sobs like a baby. For Christ's sake, it's not even like she was jumping and landed on it... Not impressed at all.

  • @err1umm / @poniesarethebest / 1: Ruptures of ligaments cause a much lower shock reaction in the body => More painful. 2: She already was exhausted => altered shock reaction + emotional breakdown (normal). 3: She instinctivly knew, that this might have been the end of her tennis career, of all she's living for and loved since a child. THUS: You're just little girl without a clue about medical stuff, totally jealous of the attention she's now getting. That's justice.. :-)

  • @jolandos great reply :)

  • @jolandos great reply

  • That Anastasia bird who won should be ashamed of herself showing no emotion or caring for Sabine . So cold and heartless . We love you Sabine xx

  • What do you mean, not for the squeamish? Looks like a garden variety ankle sprain, and then she cries like a baby. For Christ's sake, it's not even like she was jumping and landed on it... Not impressed at all.

  • Sehr asozial, wie sie mit der "Siegerin" im Anschluss sofort ein Interview durchführen -.-'

  • digga sie heult so als ob sie zwei beine verloren hat

  • what did she actually do?

I broke my ankle v. badly falling off a damn horse and i didnt even cry like that.. :s

  • @poniesarethebest She had a severe dislocation which tore half of the ligaments and tendons in her ankle.

  • @poniesarethebest / 1: Ruptures of ligaments cause a much lower shock reaction in the body => More painful. :-)

  • @jolandos great reply

  • what did she actually do?

I broke my ankle falling off a damn horse v. badly and i didnt even cry like that.. :s

  • @poniesarethebest How special. Was it front of a million live television viewers? Besides, everyone reacts differently to pain.

  • I am a flight attendant and I had Rodianova on one of my flights after she got to the semi-finals of the US open in doubles. She was SOO unpleasant. Demanded an upgrade...actually asked if 'we knew who she was.' in the end we gave her three seats together so she could sleep (in Coach!) and she was so shitty and petulant about it. Cow!

  • they were waiting for a heli?

  • Jesus the officials aren't doing a very good job

  • The entire US Open team was totally unbelieveable, I can't believe the slow/lack of response. Please don't tell me that there is some stupied rule that states she could not be attended to, common sense must take over. I can't believe she had to yell to the offical "the match is over" so they would help her.

My goodness she is not a football player, therefore an ankle injury of that nature will be more dramatic to her.

  • us open is the sloppiest GS tournament of all four.

ball persons are terribly slow. so is the medical team.

organizer should keep that in mind :(

  • What the hell is up with the medical team in the us open they are absolutely useless!! for god sake if that was any of the other slams they would have been on in seconds!
