what destroyed the economy? no it isn't capitalism. all that we see is symptomatic of the true underling cause which can be summed up in one word: DEBT. get out of debt, no more crisis. it is really that simple.
This economy isn't all Bush's fault. The majority to blame should look in the fucking mirror because they know who they are. It's those PEOPLE who got adjustable rates on their homes through Democratic loan programs like Fannie Mae And Freddie Mac...and then took equity out on their homes and couldn't afford their mortgage anymore. That's where it all started. Bush evidently made it worse, but so did Clinton, and so did Bush Senior
The US has been broke for years living off IOU's. It started decades ago. I blame Clinton for the NAFTA that took away millions of our jobs for one and Bush SR & JR. I don't trust any of them. Even the ones running for President now can make all the promises they want about tax brakes and changes but, again it's too late. Too much damage has been done that can't be reversed.
