I'm a long time windows user, having experience with win 98, 2000, XP home, media, pro, vista. I have also experience working with mac. When I compare them, I have to be careful how I'm comparing them. Mac os x is more easy to use and looks cool. It's good for music, videos, pics, etc. PC is more into office productivity and definitely better for gaming. Thus I think bootcamp and virtual machines is a great free option that can make you productive in every way.
