This guitar is pretty heavy, but not Les Paul heavy. its very well balanced.

They are making the ML 79 again,it's in classic blk,& transbraziliaburst finishes,I seen them on Dean's website.Im glad they brought at least the ML 79 series back,set neck,grovers,high end guitar for under $500 thats what im talkin about,yell yeah.

@AlexM1175 Yeah, you can still find them in shops/ebay/online etc. The floyded ML 79 is still in production though.

@TH3C0RPS3R Well, the razorback is more metal. Sharp edges, floyd rose etc. They have different neck profiles too. This has a C profile and the razor had a V profile. Up to you man, go play both at a music store and see which one you like :)

@TH3C0RPS3R this is the MLx 79. The ML 79 has a floyd rose and is what Dimebag Darrel used. The razorback is cool but kinda cliche "Heavy Metal"

@TheRealSonicYouth This is a 79... You can get non floyded ones and floyded ones. Dime only used one 79 ML... The rest were flame series 80's ML's or USA's... The MLX has a bolt on neck, unpainted neck and no flame maple top. Also made out of basswood with a maple neck.

@h2ogunmaet Yeah man! You can gig professionally with this or jam at home with it. I know lots of professional bands who tour with this. Only thing I'm change is the nut, I'm going to get a brass nut on mine soon. It'll sound 20 times better with it. Go get this guitar!
