  • Hey you're really good. Did you draw your character or was it a print out?

  • @HappyJadeful Both! They are printouts of a drawing I drew.

  • I got really excited every time you said you were gonna show us the full picture! They all look really pretty.

  • @BellaSolveig Thanks!

  • Wow thanx!!! It's or we'll this is really helpfully!

    U r such a great ( gr8) manga artist or drawer!!! Xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox!!! X

  • Great video~! Um... what kind of markers did you use? hehe, I'm pracining on being a mangaka, and I'm mostly good with just black and white, but I'm not all talented on coloring. Also, very lovely drawling~ You have a good talent on this! The shading and way you organized the art and color really is amzing! Great job :)

  • @MattieKai Umm, please ignore the question about the marker ^.^; I see you said it in the video hehe. Sorry

  • @MattieKai Thanks! I use Copic markers.

  • Great video!

  • way to go you just earned a subscriber

  • @craig4031 Thanks! :)

  • how old are you? I have 14 years and I want to draw as well as your

  • i colour darker to lighter does it make a big diference??

  • @drebin152 Not really. I do dark to light sometimes too. And quite often I do a random order.

  • do you think at age 10 i can color like that!

be cause i really need couragement

  • @Animelover123410 Yes you can! Your age doesn't matter. What matters is the amount of practice and effort you put into your work :)

  • Does your sister draw manga too?:)

  • I really love how you colour with copics, I've just started to use them and I was having trouble with the shading parts of a picture, this tutorial has helped me know where to start :)

Thank you very much! Subscribed~ :D

  • Hey zKittyz i need yur help please ok please do a tutorial on how to draw hair with no fring because I want to draw myself in manga version but I don't know how to

  • dear zkittyz you inspired me to draw manga, chibis, and anime thxs! keep rockin' :)

  • I got copic markers and I'm from yorkshie btw from amazon

  • YOU guys are soo lucky cos in england U don't get copics and stuff and i desperately want them :''''''''''''''''''''''''''''(

  • I really like how you shade :). By the way, how long have you been using copic markers? I'm trying to start young so I can learn before getting into art schools or something like that xD

  • @Chingy892987 About 3 years I think.

  • wow your so good do you think i can do this at the age of 11?

  • @LittlestPokemonShop Definitely! Age has nothing to do with it. There are 11 year olds that can draw way better than me.

  • @zkittyz Kewl thanks for responding!

  • Which ones better: Ciao or Sketch?

Oh and do you recommend copic markers for a beginner? Well, I wouldn't really say a beginner but someone who doesn't have much experience coloring with markers~

  • @HopelessRomantic0723 They both work the exact same because they have the same nibs. I personally like the sketch because it holds more ink and the name is on the cap. I wouldn't say I RECOMMEND them for beginners, but I'm not saying beginners shouldn't get them. I wish I waited until my drawing level was better before buying mine. I feel like all the drawings I've coloured so far were a waste of ink.

  • @HopelessRomantic0723 your 11 im 10

  • You help me so much! ^.^

  • i really need help on chins can you pwease make a tut thanks

  • can you pleeeeeeaaaassseee do a video on noses and mouths? i suck at them.

  • where do you get the pens from and are they expensive because i really want them and i have no money cause i'm like in middle school and my family is kinda um dirt poor? so...

  • @LOLcaNoGaNgSTa Info on where I get supplies is on my channel. And yes, they are expensive.

  • You are once again AMAZING!!! Will you do a tutorial on how to draw an anime eye?

  • @renirenifan1 I already did.

  • Do you have any sugestions on where I can get copics cheap? They are SO expensive by me.. $6-$7 each...,

    Awesome tutorial :D

  • @StJimmysPain I use these sites:

    oozak. com

    dickblick. com

    otakufuel. com

They cost $4.87 each on all 3 sites, but if you make an account on oozak, you get them for $4.15 each. carpediemstore. com also has them for $4.15 each, but they only ship within the US.

  • Me want skin!! Lol jk but if you can I that would be great. :)

  • i cant lie my fav was the secong one

  • @kittykatkarla1 Same!

  • @zkittyz i kno and i wish u could be my manga teacher cause i am litterally horrible

  • @zkittyz i wish u were my teacher cause i suck at drawing

  • I just wanted to say that your tutorials are so incredibly helpful and detailed, and that watching them has helped me so much along the path of becoming a better artist. Thank you so much! :)

  • another great way to do this is get water colour pencils and colour ur drawing but mix colours with the pencils then wet a paint bruch and go over it and it blends the colors and gives a nice finish :D

  • what brand of colored pencils did you use?

  • @zkittyz,your making me cry!!!

  • @SumiChan90 why?

  • You should do a tutorial on how you did the skin with the colored pencils.

  • @InvaderJaycee i'm pretty sure she used her Copics for the skin

  • What are all the materials you use for drawing? Like markers, colored pencils, paper, and etc. Please answer. Thanks :)

  • I like the 2nd one the best

  • i do my hair like the first one

  • eres muy buena :]

  • After the Mini-art competition could you do a vid on highlights. Like making the hair look shiny.

  • what kind of markers do you use?

  • @strawberry135798 she uses Copic sketches

  • skin tutorial plzzzzzzzzz Q^Q

  • Can you do a vid. on the like face (skin and eyes as well?) nice work btw I'm more of a colored pencil person than marker. can you make a vid with the skin with colored pencil too? Or is that too much

  • oh oops i put the comment before i finished watching the vid

  • what was the brand for the colored pencils you were using?

and also i liked the way you colored the skin so can you make a tutorial of how you did it? thx you helped me a lot

  • @snowypandas101 she says it in the video..... >.>

  • Wow, this helped me a ton... I cant decide if i like the first one or the second one better.... Maybe I'll try combining them...?

  • Q: Is it okay to blend colors that are very diffrent? Like if a character has black hair with blond highlights would it mess up the markers?

  • @PersiannRoxxas The black could stain the yellow marker nib. Draw the highlights in yellow first, then colour the black over top. I wouldn't try BLENDING them though.

  • can you do a video about the skin (:

  • Hey.. Um.. What mark/make are those pens you use? Just curious.. Thankyou, and by the way awesome videos!

  • A tutorial on the skin would be great too :)

And this was soo helpful!! Thank you :D

  • A tutorial on skin would be awesome!(:

Thank you so much for this video :D

  • thank you soooooooo much it helped a lot and the eyes are really cute^^

  • You can use Georgia-Pacific White Cardstock paper in your printer and It is very good when you are using copics (and cheap xD)

  • @KerchaDraco And you can buy it at Walmart (I miss the best part xD)

  • Would love to see a tutorial on how you color skin. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • What computer picture scanner thingy do you use? :P I wanna get one but I'm not sure which ones work best.

  • what does it mean for a marker to "bleed"?

  • @gottafindN You colour one spot and the ink leaks to a different spot. Like you can colour inside the lines, but the ink will run outside the lines.

  • goooooooood

  • ahh thx!~ This helped me a lot. A tutorial on skin?! Please make one on that!

  • You should make a manga. I mean, your drawings are better than some artists!!

  • you draw hair so well

  • I like the colored pencil technique a lot. A video on the skin would be interesting. I'd like to see how you went about coloring it. The eyes looked nice as well (in all three colorings, the colored pencil one especially) :)

  • @TwilightManga

She said in the video that she used Prismas.. lol

  • PLease do do a tutorial on skin because its fantastic how you coloured in the skin in these and I'd love to learn how you did that ^^

I think the first way looked lovely but the second looked most pro but these are just my opinioins =33

  • yea can u make a tuturial for coloring the skin and the eyes with colored pencils I have crazy art pencil and I got a 24 pack and now when I get money umma get a 72 pack thanks

  • could you do a tutorial on how you colored the skin? it looks nice , and maybe the eyes to? they look so good D: !

  • OMG thank you SSOOO much.. Especially the colour pencil one, sice i dont have copics, or proper markers. Oh how did you do the skin for the colour pencil?

  • thanks for posting my vid me and my nephew apreciate this thanks!! miss kitty

  • @MrDrawme71 if you did not how does that work you have to ok it right

  • thank you so much for this video!! ever since i have started drawing i have always had trouble coloring hair and this has help so much!! thank you again! and keep up the great work!

  • this was very helpful thanks a bunch

  • cool...i'm tired

  • Yeah you should do a tutorial on skin! ZKITTYZ FOR THE WIN!

  • Great tutorial! I really need to get myself copics, I use promarkers now and they don't have a brush tip, the strokes seem to turn out so much ... ' smoother' with copics!

  • your reallyyy gooood: D!

  • Do you think copics would work well with sketch books?

  • @VelvetWind8 Yeah. I used my copics in my Canson sketch book and I really liked the way it looked. Just make sure you put two pieces of paper behind the page so it doesn't soak through onto the next page.

  • @zkittyz Thanks, now I just have to find where and how to buy some Copic markers...

  • @VelvetWind8 Online is way cheaper, even with shipping. I use oozak and otakufuel.

  • @zkittyz Thanks! I'll try that sometime.

  • I have been searching for a tutorial like this for agessss.... finally! Thank you so much :D

  • How did you color the eyes?!!!???!!? I love them! They are so pretty! Please make a video on how you did the eyes!

  • I really liked how you like colored the eyes :]

  • I really like the second way :) Thanks for showing how to do that! ^^

Oh and btw, where did you get the cutting mat that you're using as a drawing surface? I'm trying to find one that's ruled like that...

  • @kateelynn97 I got it at Michael's, but I later saw the same one at Walmart. It's Martha Stewart brand.

  • please more coloured pencil tutorials! :D I found this one really helpfull

  • Please do the skin! I really liked the colored pencil one, I haven't really used them. the finished look is softer and the skin looks a little less harsh. I think I'll have to try them!

  • Yesss please do the skin one!

  • Oh cool! =D The pencil crayon technique is way better than the way I used to do it lol. xD I actually color harder on the shadings to make the color darker >.> Oh and did you use pencil crayons for the eyes too? Or was that copics? Thanks! And 1 more thing (Is super embarrassed for asking too much questions....) Um which technique do you prefer? The first one or second one? Thanks, your a great help! <333

  • @TheZennie1 For the pencil crayon drawing, I did the whole thing in pencil crayon including the skin and eyes. I prefer the second technique. :)

  • Another fellow lefty!

  • I dont know if you have answerd this before but how do you film yourself drawing? Do you use a tripod? or do you have a special way???? PLEASE HELP. I want to make drawing videos but i cant figure out how to film me drawing. and great tutorial btw! :)

  • @MimiKi44 I tape my camera to my lamp, which is an L-shaped Ott-Lite.

  • @zkittyz Oh really that seems simple enough...thanks :)

  • @TwilightManga Yep. Said that in the video (and showed the case) :)

  • @TwilightManga Probably not because you need the brush tip. And water-based markers don't really blend at all, and when you layer them, they tear the paper. You could probably do different colouring methids with regular markers, but these methods don't work.

  • omg i just noticed...ur left handed?! O.O

  • Can you do the skin? I'm having trouble with that thanks, great video too!

  • Can you make a video on the skin because im having trouble on that part

  • Awesome tutorial as always! Although I liked the first method because the hair looked softer. But I can see why you like the second method-- the strands not only look more individual, the hair looks more "solid" and in fact looks like the stow that's used in anime. (In most animes I've seen, the images use cell shading since they take less time.)

I'd love to try out that color pencil method! Also, I really like it when you draw bigger eyes XD

  • Will the colored pencil method work as well with cheaper colored pencils like crayola?

  • @earthtiger12345 Probably. The thing with the cheaper brands is they don't blend as well, but I didn't really blend the colours much, so cheaper brands should still give the same effect.

  • This helped me a lot with hair. Thanks for doing this! :3

  • you have really improved i love your drawing!

  • you are really improving with those copic markers love your work :) like the eyes i use to know some one who did animals with big eyes and she colored in every speck with detail like you......... have a nice day!! :)

  • Your drawings are so 3D!

  • GREAT job as always...

  • Hey Baylee! I love this drawing and tutorial. What camera do you use to film? It's REALLY good quality! Thanks!!
