well secondly why does it matter if it is or isnt black metal?? surely its about the music? which in this case is extremely emotional, and aggressive/depressive in nature...surely burzum did songsi n this vein??(and i dont meen the ambient later stuff)

firstly....why does it matter if its black metal or not??? loads of alleged black metal bands have flirted with other generes or even moved on to others generes.....burzum?, bathory?, enslaved?, dark throne? ect even bands like emperor, dissection, satyricon, venom, celtic frost/hellhammer all have other influences which make them unique.(and before you mention it i purposly chose obvious bands)

Not all black metal are supposed to be that "evil, hail satan"-stuff. This is depressive black metal. This song (and Coldworld's songs in general) deals with such emotions, where these photos/drawings shows it in an interpretating way

I had not had a chance to digest Melancholie until it arrived in the post. I have since listened to it and agree that it is one of the best DBM albums I have ever heard. Red Snow and Escape are masterpieces of music in every aspect.
