i used this add on to level up a ret pally to 85. loved it and worked fine. like the vid said i am Leary of anything free. but this free add on his HIGH in QUALITY.

@lilrad324 I'm 52 with the guide atm and I only have like one and a half days worth of playtime. If it stays at the rate I'm going the guide certainly would allow me to hit 85 within that goal of playtime.

@lorencb2b If they do they are breaking copyright. The guides in this addon are copyrighted material and are only authorized to be used on Curse and WoW-Pro.com. If you receive individual permission from a guide author to post that guide elsewhere that's fine, but without that, the ONLY place these can legally be posted is Curse and WoW-Pro. If anyone knows of other places they are being distributed, let me know so I can send them notice to take the guides down. Thanks.

I want this addon sooo bad, but I'm not quite sure if it's legal or not. Some guy at Wow-Interface said that the trial add-on broke Blizzard's ToS because it had advertisements In-game. I'm so confused, if just someone could try to explain the problem or make a video about the add-on then it would be GREAT.
@iNinjaknife The only thing that was called into question was the trial version which was posted on Curse and WoW Interface. WoW Interface chose to take it down, Curse decided it was fine and left it alone. The full version, which is still free, is available on the website linked in the video description (wow-pro.com) and has not been questioned in terms of it's legality. So if you are concerned, just get the full version from wow-pro.com and you won't have to worry.
I've been using Joana's levelling guide and addon for ages for my horde characters, and I'll just chime in and say that levelling guides really do help speed up the process. Adding an efficient structure to levelling shaves huge amounts of time off the process, so you're up to cap and gearing up as fast as possible.
I had no idea WoW-Pro existed, and just got it for my few alliance alts, and it works a treat. Thanks!

In case anyone was wondering, in regards to recent accusations that this addon breaks ToS for WoW or Curse - I have recently had it confirmed by the CEO of Curse that this addon is perfectly fine, including the trial version with a smaller number of guides which is up on Curse.com. I just want everyone to know that we do follow up on these things, and want to address any issues you may have with the addon.

@XxLoRdxX95 Try disabling any UI addons you have, it might be conflicting. If that doesn't help, please ask for help on our website, where the developers are available to help people.

@DKthrore It should have some guides, so I'm not sure why it's doing that... but, the Curse version is a trial version anyway. As stated above and in the Curse description, to get the full version go to our website wow-pro.com
This guide is amazing. I've used dugi's guide, but when i came accross this one last night i didnt beleive it was 100% free, i thought you would have to take a survey. But when I clicked that link I was blown away! And when i ran WoW I was even more blown away! This guide is amazing fellow WoW players! They try to sound all "we're better than everyone because we're free", but Zygor makes you go to their site to download.. and you pay for it. So, is it really free? Alright, it's very cheap, but it's not free.. you have to pay by this group being a huge pain in your butt every time you need help.. or update.. or etc etc etc. GO TO OUR SITE

@Mikesaniceguy I do not own it and I do not help develop it anymore. But I never claimed not to support WoW-Pro. I love WoW-Pro, they gave me an opportunity to develop an awesome addon from scratch. However, I've left the team to focus on school and therefore I'm a terrible person to answer help questions. I simply do not know the answers. I think it's perfectly reasonable to send people to the actual developers with their questions.
@Jiyambiful What you're not getting is the part where wow-pro.com is breaking Blizzard's terms of service by advertising a site IN GAME on the trial version (otherwise known as the demo version) of the addon. Some of us players actually care about this stuff. We also depend on sites like Curse and Wowinterface to manage and deal with developers like those at wow-pro.com so that we have a safe downloading environment.

I really cannot comprehend the stupidity of believing going to a site and downloading something for free is the same as going to a site and downloading it after paying. If this has a profession leveling guide on it, I will for sure be getting this when I return to WoW. Of course, I'll still get it if there is no profession leveling guide.
@Ryuksama The profession module, as well as a world events module and several others in the works, are all part of the free addon! You can turn individual modules off if you don't want to use them, too. The addon team is working on improving functionality for these modules, but they still work great right now :)

I downloaded it and extracted the files into my wow folder Interface - Addons - ( ) and when i log into wow i cannot find it. It says it's on and everything but i cannot find it ingame.

@penguinwarrior7890 The version from our website covers all 85 levels, both Alliance and Horde, and all zones. The version on Curse is a trial version, and only covers some levels. This is because we need people to visit our website, to keep the site alive both through community and comments as well as the advertising there. BOTH versions are still FREE!
@Jiyambiful I have a problem. I am leveling my Undead Rogue and evrey time the guide says "You should be level __ by now i am always 1 level behind. Is this normal?
@penguinwarrior7890 Unfortunately, with so many different rates of XP gain, it's hard for us to judge exactly what level someone should be at. If you are only 1 level behind I doubt you will have any problems. However, if it would be fun to do so, you might want to try running a dungeon or doing some PvP in order to boost your experience level.
In Curse I see a 3.3.5 version of this addon but IDK if that's the full addon. Anyone knows if it's the full version? Cus I dont find any links to that version in WoW Pro and I want to run this in 3.3.5a.

Cos im too bored to create an account: Found a bug, in deepholm step 233: Pebble quest. I think if you get teh quest of Pebble before getting this quest the quest is no longer available to you, then if you click skip step, it skips the next 76 steps.
@JustaWeinerFag If you hover over the checkbox, it should tell you how to "manually complete" a step rather than skipping it. This will prevent it from skipping follow-up quests.
@NexyPlays The arrow is from TomTom, which is currently required to get the full potential out of our addon. There is an arrow module in the works for our addon in the future.

All In-Game Addons are free, as per the WoW API Agreement, you cannot sell an addon. Carbonite does everything your addon does without the fancy video tutorial. Routes are great, but just knowing where to go is just as fast, but that's opinion. As for the 100% Free, that shouldn't be your best feature, since they're all free.
@m1dnightw0lf Sorry, I'm not sure what ideal fluffy bunny universe you are living in, but here in the real world there are numerous paid WoW guides that have an addon component. Yes, the addon itself is free to download for those guides - but the guide content is NOT free. It costs $50-100 or more depending on the guide. I'm talking Zygor, Joannah, Nymm, those guys. They get away with it because they are selling their content, not the addon itself. So YES, the distinction is important.
As for the comparison to Carbonite - it's just plain true that it does less, but what it does do is great and may certainly be sufficient for some people. But it's not really what we are comparing against - we are comparing against similar GUIDE addons, not questing helpers. And all our competitors aside from Tour Guide are paid. Trust me, I've been working on this project for a while, I do have some idea of what our competitors are!
@MrMardini13 It's the Celestial Steed, you need to purchase it from Blizzard's store. It was a gift so I'm not really sure how much it is, probably around 25 US dollars.
Ive used their guides for years and its great. Ive also paid off and on for other guides and there is no longer any comparison. WoW-Pro is the top dog and crushes all other guides under its mighty tread. Ive leveled roughly 15 80's and 4 85 with them :)
@mageofdarknessbg The current version will NOT work on 3.3.5, and the guides are completely incorrect for that version of WoW. Both Curse and WoW Interface should have archives of our older versions, however. We DO NOT support these older versions, and I'm not going to look through and find the right one for you, but if you try a few of them you should find one that works.
@mageofdarknessbg Yes, you need to look in the ARCHIVES on Curse or WoW Interface. The current version will always be for (no surprise) the CURRENT version of WoW. Sorry, we have enough trouble and confusion supporting one version as it is! Good luck.
I have been playing WoW for 7 years (since 2004, pre-bc) and this is the best guide :O Ive always used the Wow-pro site guide, and this helps ALOT compared to that. Dont have to alt tab anymore.

This addon totally rocks!! Questhelper sucks when compared to this one as it always crashes and breaks down for me. Whenever I try to check for where to go for a quest, Questhelper always says that it doesn't know where to go. Heck questhelper. I'm sticking with this one!!!
I've been playing for 4 years, thought I knew everywhere to go for leveling and in what order. I discovered quest hubs and chains i never knew existed. I use this addon on all my max level toons and any alts im working on. Great for grinding gold etc... only complaint. I hate having to actually log out to disable/renable it... would love a way to close the GUI in game, and be able to reopen it easily
@KaAttaKilla Just click on the panda icon on the mini-map (or data broker, if you are using a titan-panel-like addon) and the addon is disabled - presto! :)
I've been using WoW-Pro guides since Vanilla. I love all of the recent changes. The AddOn is so much easier than having to tab out and read a webpage for every step.

I've leveled like 7 chars past 70, 5 to 80 I'm currently leveling one to 85. I've used this guide for most of them and it rocks. Srsly.. It's so good that it will play Metallica inside your head everytime you ding ;P To hear other groups, just like them better and the addon will automaticly notice this and change the music to your preference.

@Mikesaniceguy I do not own it and I do not help develop it anymore. But I never claimed not to support WoW-Pro. I love WoW-Pro, they gave me an opportunity to develop an awesome addon from scratch. However, I've left the team to focus on school and therefore I'm a terrible person to answer help questions. I simply do not know the answers. I think it's perfectly reasonable to send people to the actual developers with their questions.

@Jiyambiful What you're not getting is the part where wow-pro.com is breaking Blizzard's terms of service by advertising a site IN GAME on the trial version (otherwise known as the demo version) of the addon. Some of us players actually care about this stuff. We also depend on sites like Curse and Wowinterface to manage and deal with developers like those at wow-pro.com so that we have a safe downloading environment.

@Ryuksama The profession module, as well as a world events module and several others in the works, are all part of the free addon! You can turn individual modules off if you don't want to use them, too. The addon team is working on improving functionality for these modules, but they still work great right now :)

@Dyils We do not support private servers or older versions of WoW. However, our addon is archived on both Curse and WoW Interface, and you should be able to find a version for 3.3.5 on there. No I will not search it for you. No I do know the exact version number. Good luck!

@penguinwarrior7890 The version from our website covers all 85 levels, both Alliance and Horde, and all zones. The version on Curse is a trial version, and only covers some levels. This is because we need people to visit our website, to keep the site alive both through community and comments as well as the advertising there. BOTH versions are still FREE!

@penguinwarrior7890 Unfortunately, with so many different rates of XP gain, it's hard for us to judge exactly what level someone should be at. If you are only 1 level behind I doubt you will have any problems. However, if it would be fun to do so, you might want to try running a dungeon or doing some PvP in order to boost your experience level.

Cos im too bored to create an account: Found a bug, in deepholm step 233: Pebble quest. I think if you get teh quest of Pebble before getting this quest the quest is no longer available to you, then if you click skip step, it skips the next 76 steps.

@JustaWeinerFag If you hover over the checkbox, it should tell you how to "manually complete" a step rather than skipping it. This will prevent it from skipping follow-up quests.

@NexyPlays The arrow is from TomTom, which is currently required to get the full potential out of our addon. There is an arrow module in the works for our addon in the future.

All In-Game Addons are free, as per the WoW API Agreement, you cannot sell an addon. Carbonite does everything your addon does without the fancy video tutorial. Routes are great, but just knowing where to go is just as fast, but that's opinion. As for the 100% Free, that shouldn't be your best feature, since they're all free.

@m1dnightw0lf Sorry, I'm not sure what ideal fluffy bunny universe you are living in, but here in the real world there are numerous paid WoW guides that have an addon component. Yes, the addon itself is free to download for those guides - but the guide content is NOT free. It costs $50-100 or more depending on the guide. I'm talking Zygor, Joannah, Nymm, those guys. They get away with it because they are selling their content, not the addon itself. So YES, the distinction is important.

As for the comparison to Carbonite - it's just plain true that it does less, but what it does do is great and may certainly be sufficient for some people. But it's not really what we are comparing against - we are comparing against similar GUIDE addons, not questing helpers. And all our competitors aside from Tour Guide are paid. Trust me, I've been working on this project for a while, I do have some idea of what our competitors are!

Ive used their guides for years and its great. Ive also paid off and on for other guides and there is no longer any comparison. WoW-Pro is the top dog and crushes all other guides under its mighty tread. Ive leveled roughly 15 80's and 4 85 with them :)

@mageofdarknessbg The current version will NOT work on 3.3.5, and the guides are completely incorrect for that version of WoW. Both Curse and WoW Interface should have archives of our older versions, however. We DO NOT support these older versions, and I'm not going to look through and find the right one for you, but if you try a few of them you should find one that works.

This addon totally rocks!! Questhelper sucks when compared to this one as it always crashes and breaks down for me. Whenever I try to check for where to go for a quest, Questhelper always says that it doesn't know where to go. Heck questhelper. I'm sticking with this one!!!

I've been playing for 4 years, thought I knew everywhere to go for leveling and in what order. I discovered quest hubs and chains i never knew existed. I use this addon on all my max level toons and any alts im working on. Great for grinding gold etc... only complaint. I hate having to actually log out to disable/renable it... would love a way to close the GUI in game, and be able to reopen it easily

This allows you to enable or disable any of the addons without logging out/in, then you just hit the reloadui button.

I've leveled like 7 chars past 70, 5 to 80 I'm currently leveling one to 85. I've used this guide for most of them and it rocks. Srsly.. It's so good that it will play Metallica inside your head everytime you ding ;P To hear other groups, just like them better and the addon will automaticly notice this and change the music to your preference.
