  • Your product maybe better than 3M, but the thickness is not necessarily the reason. It is the material itself.

  • @scrapbook11 -SOrry buddy, but it IS the thickness that makes a difference. When it comes to people or hurricane force winds pounding on your glass, THICKER IS BETTER. Thanks for the feedback.

  • @scrapbook11 3M is only 4 mil. Ours is 8 mil thick...

  • Yes it would. We installed it on a lady's house - 5 days later someone tried to break in. She said all they could manage was to make a 2" x 5" hole before they gave up!

    P.S. The 3M stuff is only 4 Mil - ours is 8 Mil! Do you want a two ply tire or a 3 ply tire when someone or a storm is beating on your glass?
