  • The music you hear is the state song of Kansas and the buffalo (bison) is the state animal of Kansas too.

  • Could haved been filmed in Kansas. This is their state animal.

  • One of those buffalos are 200 yrs. old today, and the reason why I know of that is because its celebrating its ""Bison"-tennial".

  • I saw these animals at the Rocky mountian arsenal wildlife refuge. On a tour on the van we went inside to where they keep them. This is the state animal of Kansas too.

  • I bet this was filmed in Custer State Park in South Dakota.

  • Yep its Home on the range, The state song of Kansas.

  • Those are bison. True buffalo live in Africa and Asia. capebuffalo- Africa also called African buffalo. Water buffalo- Asia.

  • I remember thinking that the music was a rather sad rendition of "Home on the Range."

  • Yeah, most likely the version was sad on purpose. The people who used it were probably thinking about the state of our prairies, and how the land and the native people had been messed up by carelessness, and the endangered state of the noble buffalo as well.

  • @HootsytheOwl I noticed the sad sound as well. :( Children all over N America used to know this song, now I bet very few do.
