Ahhh....Tate still sounds good to me period, the guitar solo had a sing snag...it happens but Tate can still bring it and not as an excuse but for a guy in his late 40's......he can hit almost all of his notes with force. Glad to see an og metal band with awesome lyrics and album concept still bring it.

@Coldmystery I'm not upset with anything... it seems like every time I look @ a video on YT you get some authoritative jerk with their comments putting someone down so I like to put them down and let them see how it feels... big deal, you can dish it out so take it! I should certainly amend that, I was saying that out of mild frustration. I suppose my biggest complaint is this, Around 3:15 or so, after the solo, he hits some lower notes that are lower than the cd recording. And they sound awesome. Alot of singers do that nowadays as they get older. My complaint is he doesn't do it enough. The last 3 times I saw him live were kind of annoying cause he kept trying to hit notes that he obviously couldn't. Sometimes just going lower saves the song.

live crime from 91 is a live masterpiece, this is a train wreck of epic proportion! mindcrime was originally written as a screen pla, after they showed to the late meistro m. kammen [rip] his first words were this story has 2 told with music not images, mindcrime 2 suffered greatlly without kammens input, he was the music behind the RYCHES music, and metals 1 true champion in his classical world! he spent his life proving metal is the only true cousin of classical and we r the better 4 it!

I remember seeing these guys in like 1990 or 91. They said it was the last time they would do Operation Mindcrime from end to end. It was a good show, Tate is a stron and classicly trained singer.....but I bet ya Dio can blast him off the stage during the duets

Saw it man and I still think Dio is more powerful on the stick. Dio is a legend and his voice is legendary. Though its lost some range the power remains....Like Halford in a way.

I just listened to War Pigs with Dio, and compared it with Ozzy's. Dio had a such powerfull voice back then! And his songs with Rainbow and Elf were masterpiece too... Recently Dio is still a good singer (especially copmared with Ozzy - listen to 2005 concert on youtube :/) but it is not the same as he were young.

However Dio never had such range as Tate! I think he rarely goes below A2, and Geoff can sing whole octave lower!

But it's hard to compare singers with so different style!
