@darksyfe When blue eyes first came out, it actually was kinda hard to beat since there weren't very many cards that kill monsters automatically. The only method of killing Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon was Man-Eater Bug and Hane-Hane, and any good player would've used BEUD to attack directly instead of risking attacking a face-down card (since those 2 cards were maxed in every deck)

@darksyfe When this show was released as dub there weren't that many cards that could kill it. Now they just want to keep new custuomers hooked so they make most cards capable of killing any monster. But back in the first series of cards the ultimate dragon was just that, ultimate. Only Rageki was capable of destroying it. And it was soon banned. So yeah, but today just about anything can beat it.

Like if you sacrifice 3 blue eyes white dragons, the effects the Gods get should be greater than if you sacrificed 3 kuribohs, you know? But if you just go by the rules originally set forth they are unkillable

@64522744 No one needs God cards to win...their unwieldy and not that great, depends on the rules you and your friends decide to go by. Usually, the god cards attack effects remain the same, but they are normally vulnerable to magic trap and monster effects 100% unlike the show. So their only cheap factor is their attack power, which is moderately countered by their rarity and summoning cost. But eh..true duelists run multiple decks ;)

It's supposed to be that when you offer two monsters, Obelisk destroys your opponents field and inflicts 4000 points of damage. Since the robot was going to lose the duel anyway, it's pretty much the same thing as taking an infinitely high attack.

They dont cause damage unless its a shadow game. If you saw a giant monster attacking you you would flinch a little. I think Kaiba just set it to do damage here.
