What is it that is really important to you? A "sexy artist" or a good performance? If this (and other) video(s) show(s) the "highlights", I'm glad that I haven't been there!

Judging from what I can read here and on several forums, far too many "fans" only seem to be interested in a "poster motif" of a former mega star than in good music. Sorry - but this is NOT the Adam Ant I like to listen to or to see performing in the future. I keep my memories of a former brilliant artist.

Well, Chicky, in the music scene here in Los Angeles, for instance, it's not really possible for Adam to come to the US with anykind of substandard backing band because it passes as punk (which I think has it's niche) in small bars in the UK where people are into live music regardless of Doherty's appearance or issues, etc.. Everyone goes for a singalong or to observe an artist as fantatics watching death, but in the US it's about a professional performance and artisanship.

Sorry. But was at the gig as well, and Adam was sur-really bad. His guitar was out of tune for the whole gig and he seemed to stop every few moments - hence highlights. Was like a bad open mic night gig. Thought it was pretty uncomfortable watching a pop great way past his best. Sorry. I liked his hat though.

Love Marco too. faithful and brilliant in his own right. I would almost chew off my own foot to see the original ant lineup live anywhere on the face of this planet. Hell..I might venture a trip to the moon if I knew they were playing on another planet. To see Adam , Marco, and Kevin and those fabulous dual drummers once more would beyond insanely amazing.

You have no idea. I am so pleased. I can not imagination a youth spent without ant music . What a total drag it would have been. granted I hhad lots of interests and he was not the only artist I love , but I''l be damed if he is not in my top 3 of all time 80's artists ..really artists period.
