Halo CE files are not supported only halo pc maps u can edit/mod

make a copy of the map you want to edit, save the copy as untitled.map, when ur done editing just save it as the original

guys; promise me you'll subscibe: when you go on tools>options, then you will see that the path says : "Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS\bitmaps.map"

the problem is that when it say halo, its meant to say: halo trial, its meant to loock like this: Copy and paste the following path:

"Microsoft Games\Halo Trial\MAPS\bitmaps.map"

When I open a map, it says

"Unable to open HaloPC 'bitmaps.maps' file. Please check tools->Options... and make sure the path is set correctly."

So what am I supposed too do? I went to "tools" then "options" and the path at end is "Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS\bitmaps.map" so I tried changing it too "Microsoft Games\Halo\MAPS\sidewinder.map­" and opening sidewinder (I kinda figured it wouldnt work, but hey, mgiht as well try) so now what do I do?

@ClubAmerica567 hes wrong, you need to sparkify it first...look up sparkify kit on google its the metafire... then look up a guide on sparkify/desparkifying maps

After I am done editing the map, I navigate to File > Save Changes. A Message appears and says "Changes Saved." Then I go to play halo and go to multiplayer. The Navigate to Create A Game > Lan. just try messing about, sorry this problem has never happend to me but you can copy the orignal map and add a ppf patch to it and then edit it, and get the undo-sparkify files (you can get all this, ppf o matic and its sparkify files from google) and remove the patch, then try replacing the map you copied with the orignal, but just incase this does not work make sure you keep the same orignal copy of the map damnation..

okay so i have sparkedit version 3.02 and i used the sparkify thing on bloodgulch.map with ppf-o-matic but when i got to sparkedit and open the bloodgulch.map file it says failed to open bitmaps.map and do and check some stuff. bloodgulch.map opens but it isnt colored. i tried replacing bitmaps.map with an original file just in case it got modded but no work. i used sparkdedit version 3.01 too. i applied sparkify for bloodgulch.map to bitmaps.map with ppf-o-matic but no work. plz help me.

u can use trial but you will need 1 extra program to use sparkedit for the version halo trial, PPF-O-MATIC 3 and the Sparkify files to make a ISO of the Map

at the tabs..you can see the models tab in the software(guiltyspark).there r a list of objects so how to put the objects that r in the list to the map that we r editing? i mean put new objects...new weapons...turret...(sidesinder map).

ohh, that wont work, ive tried it, only thing you can do is go to edit and choose the tabs, the only way you can actually add things in the map is to PMI it and thats some long thing to do for a beginner but id say you look on youtube for tutorials, once you get the hang of PMI ing it wont be that hard, it will take only 15 mins

some of the things u cannot put but you can replace with another object, but if u dont want to replace copy paste a new object and replace it with another model, if you want diffrent objects like floods elites or pelicans in your map you will need to watch a Halo PMI Tutorial
