The song doesn't sound terrible. Usually when people have to pitch songs, I groan in agony, but this one isn't bad at all. Still plenty bearable to listen to, so it works. =D

Wonderful work as always. While you say it's simple, I enjoyed the simplicity of it. Just focusing on the pairings more so than fancy, flashy effects. (Not to say that the effects you did use were not good, of course. Those were all well timed and well done, after all. x3)
