@nicobike I know this is old but they were friends. They were in a band together called "The Hills Have Eyes" with Ilia on guitar and Thomas on crazy screaming vocals. they only have 3 songs though

I think it needs clarifying, the guitarist and drummer met at a party in Thomas Erak's house, and the bassist is Ilia's brother. And they've all played in bands with Erak at some point. Jay was in Tribune with him in high school, as well as in his new band and Ilia was in the Hills Have Eyes with him in 2005. Mike Munro (The Thirty Years War's second guitarist) actually wrote Red Museums bio on the website. Its all very closely linked.
