@trento728 Gotta call bullshit on that one....there is ALWAYS fuel in the system regardless of fuel level, pressure is the same, it's an electric fuel pump, "tank pressure" makes no difference, if anything, low fuel would make the car FASTER because you're not carrying that extra 100~lbs of fuel.

@santanatl It will be even less funny when your fuel pump dies :( It's cooled down by gas in your tank. No gas in tank = no cooling = premature wear = a big problem when it dies far away from home. Just a fellow BMW owner advice!
