  • ali said to the beatles you guys aren't as dumb as you look.to which lennon replied no but you are.ali looked ay him and lennon stared back.everybody got real quiet.then ali laughed and everybody else started laughing.lennon wasn't scared of no man.

  • @jayfey77 Yeah, Lennon was a cool dude.

  • Happy 70th Birthday Muhammad Ali!!

  • funny watching him saying : i'm gonna be the greatest of all times !....

cause he doesn't know wht for symbol he will be for black people , young boxers, pacifist and many others .......

  • ALI IN HIS PRIME IS LEGENDARY

  • OOOMG, The Beatles!!!

  • Incredible hooks.

  • i had such a crush on him as a little girl...

  • How absolutely incredible that these two icons hit the world stage in the same month same year Feb. 1964, and actually met each other in this same month. Both "shook up the world"

  • supposely Ali asked who were those bunch a fags after they left, didn't go down well ,,@IrzJaii ,,you thought ali died ,,if your going to be a glory hunting fan at least read a book about the guy r boxers in general .

  • @theirishbloke Yeah, that's what I read, too. Lennon was also annoyed with Ali. He thought Liston would whup him and then they'd look like fools. Two things are important to note: Ali & Lennon later became friends and allies in their anti-war struggles, and The Beatles weren't exactly softies. All 4 came from tough working class backgrounds.

  • 2:40 he starts scratching his balls...or so it seems lol

  • @IrzJail wat tha hell Ali is still alive

  • why did this king have to die, he would of beat mike tyson easily, dancing around his ass, slowly knocking him off, mikes slow.

  • Do you realize how valuable this footage is? Trust me it will be worth millions one day!

  • does any one have the a video of the 1962-1963 golden glove boxing the winner is my grandfather and his manger is zollinger

  • Ali and Beatles = The Greatest of the 20th Century!!

  • Notice how Ali and that other dude(Bundini I think) are yelling and stuff trying to pump Ali up. That was his way of motivating himself.

  • Can you believe the Beatles wanted to meet Liston and not Ali, douchebags! Bet they were glad later that they met Ali instead

  • @toby099 like everyone else they thought liston would whup him good

  • is there anyway i can get this audio? the bundini brown hype up scene is priceless lol

  • Bundini Brown was very very important to Ali psychologically, every fighter needs a Bundini..

  • 2:00 - 2:29 = The greatest 29 secs in boxing history.

  • Comment removed

  • 2:03 lol wow ringo must be light

  • WHO IS SPARRING OF ALI ? is LARRY HOLMES ?? OR WHO IS IT ???

    THANK YOU !

  • wow the beatles and muhammad ali together. arguably the two most popular figures in the world at one time. maybe even still today. this is amazing footage.

  • black & white ali were much stronger & faster than the newer ali

  • I love Ali and I love the Beatles and this was just as awkward as I expected it to be.

  • Haha the Beatles look so small compared to him...

  • a young, prime Clay... truly a boxing phenomen. Unthinkable that there r middleweights out there that cant match this heavyweights speed and he must possess the greatest footwork ever seen in boxing

  • Muhammad Ali was a stupendous inspiration for at me 18. I lived on his every word. But, they stole 3 1/2 years of his boxing life because he spoke his mind and stood up for his people. I will love him forever. Him and Malcolm side by side. Awesome. The 60's were tremendous. If you didn't live it you really missed some great vibrations. I'll never FORGET IT!!!!!!

  • *-* 1:57+

  • there have debates whether tyson was a good fighter or it was evander who is worth to take that fame and till today there have been many fighters who 's rep is at stake but there is noone pointout at Ali's Game!

  • Truly remarkable footage. Everything from scratching his nuts to the yells to the Beatles.

  • how fun it woulda been to hang with a young Ali?

  • WOOOOO the beatles.

  • Dang....Ringo was so freaking small compared to Ali lol

  • muhammads the best

  • It was said that after the Beatles left the training facility, Ali turned to Angelo Dundee and asked, "Just who were those little faggots anyway?"

  • @lwmson it wasnt just said, it was true....but faggot wasnt as serious as it is now. but a funny though fa sho.

  • Haha they're all funny. Ali's all screaming, "The Beatles, the Beatles, the Beatles want my autograph, yeah, IM DA KING!!" You have to think like a winner if you want to win, I guess there's no time to be humble in the ring. It's cool because they all looked like they were having fun, I wonder if they met at all afterwards.

  • priceless....

this is BBC's old version of Today's HBO 24/7 :D

    cool!

  • great video of a great human been man, muhammad ali, the greatest!

  • Wow. Very cool. Never seen this before.

  • Awesome!

  • scratching his nuts then gives Bundy a right 2:48

  • cyn was there some where in the crowd of people

    the beatles first u.s. tour

  • do u see ali when he just throws his blows and the dude cant take it

  • " Dont even shave " lol...

  • also before that i like how camera man just loves to zoom in on his croch lol

  • chek out lennon at 1:59 of this clip, he is tryin to psyche Ali out, he wont move out of his way. Who he think he is?

  • John Lennon

  • @Crypussie

Yeah, Ali vs Lennon fight of the Century.

not really, but ali sucked at singing, john sucked a professional boxing.

he was good and well trained in bar fights, just like alis voice singing is acceptable.

but to be frankly, both should stay where they are ;)

  • i know right, i love bundini he is always telling him "dance champ"

  • lmaooo...man ali had the greatest camp ever....you have the greatest trainer of all time in angelo dundee..who i reckon saved his ass in the cooper fight when he was down....and then you have joe bundini, stroking ali's ego...lmaoo rumble young man rumble...ali is the best ever

  • just jogging, u sprint n u get gassed with ur breath

  • what does gassed in your breath mean

  • Meaning you're out of breath because you don't breath with every punch you give.

  • did ali ever do any sprints when he used to run

  • That's Luis Rodriguez @ 4:25 who was probably training for Emile Griffith at the time. Either he was going for or defending the welterweight title. Great Upload!

  • Ooops..meant :36

  • i love when ringo backs back when ali walks up

  • @iluzjoe93

yeah, ringo always was the joker of the band.

  • It looks as if he's scratching himself at 2:46 in this clip. Gotta wash up champ!

  • GENIUS.

  • Without a Drew "Bundini" Brown there would be no Ali. His was a friend , a mentor and his spirit.

  • Don't believe me?!?!

    4:15

  • "the greatest of all time"

Ali made that prediction very early in his

    life and career.

  • Dam! How he knew so much at such a young age? Pure genius.

  • Ali vs 4 Ricky Hattons

  • Whats almost sad is the all four of the Beatles probably would have lost to Ali. I love the boys from Liverpool, always funny and always talented.

  • ali is a GOD the best

  • ali i s not a god

  • When they first met, Ali said "You guys aren't as dumb as you look." Then John said, "Yeah, but you are." And it got quiet and it looked like they were going to have a fight then they all started laughing and it was alright. ha :D

  • i love how he carries ringo!

  • Lol, he scratches his nuts at 2:48

  • I was watching a documentary on this. When the Beatles left he asked somebody...."who were those little faggots?" lol lol.

  • ahahahahah really? this I gotta see

  • This is awesome!! Beatles and Ali....

  • Two of my favorite icons from different worlds, Ali and the Beatles...cool.

  • Comment removed

  • i think he says.."if i lose..they wont lose it"

  • what i heard was:" if i lose, they wont use it"...its also more logical dont you think?

  • 1st of all there is no law saying i have to put a date on the video, it is not asthough i have put a date and its wrong. His name was changed to muhammad ali, whether his name was cassius clay in 1964 or not is irrelavent just like your opinion on my video. have a nice life

  • AHHHH thank you!

  • @shammi13 Thank you!

  • His name is Muhammad Ali not clay ALI! ALI! ALI!

  • @shamanite1 He is a muslim now, and he changed is name to Muhammad Ali, therefore the title is correct

  • @shamanite1 dumb ass or what? if you dont like muslims keep it to yourself you ugly fucker. besidews muahmed ali sounds alot better then cassious clay also he had a choice to change it back but he said no im a muslim and proud so fuck you.

  • @shamanite1 Its still Muhammad Ali .. whats wrong with you ? ...

  • @shamanite1 Would Ali refer to himself in 1964 as Cassius Clay or Muhammad Ali?

  • @shamanite1 Go fuck yourself. Muhammad for life!

  • he had a bit of an ego on him :/

  • Yeah right

  • LoL!! "Rumble young man" 1:12.

  • haha great to see the GREATEST BAND with the GREATEST BOXER

  • god damn, i wish i could have met ali in his prime......now thats priceless and i envy previous generations for having the oppurtunity to have done that if they took advantage of it.

  • Ali! BOOM BYE AY!!!!

  • yeah THE BEATLES and THE CHAMP!

    awesome =P

  • ALI was is a beautifull man

  • Has anyone got the full documentary of this and also the rumble in the jungle bb4 documentary?

  • Great great great footage

  • John Lennon was to have remarked that Ali showed up The Beatles in their historic meeting. If had to do agian Lennon would have passed. Oh well great footage anyway.

  • John Lenon should than his lucky stars that he got a chance to meet the champ!!!

    "Rumble, young man Rumble AHH!"

  • Rumble young man,

Rumble that's was the "Greatest" Ali.!!

  • They mentioned the meeting in the Will Smith movie. Finally I got to see it. The Beatles and Muhammad Ali: two of my greatest sources of admiration, one on one. (as it were lol)

  • cool!XD

    where did u get this?

  • for me sonny liston is the must strong, ali the best ma Bear Liston was very strong.

  • Woke up, got out of bed

Dragged a comb across my head

Found my way downstairs and drank a cup

And looking up, i noticed i was late

Found my coat and grabbed my hat

Made the bus in seconds flat

Found my way upstairs and had a smoke

Somebody spoke and i went into a dream

    Ah....Ali.

  • i read the new today oh boy about a lucky man who made the grade and even though the news was sad i couldnt help it but to laugh

  • Max Schmeling could beat him

  • max schmelling was good but complete different style, plus joe louis beat him in the comeback fight, now louis and ali that's a fight

  • sooo lucky he got to meet the BEATLES!!!

  • the beatles were lucky to have met a legend like ali

  • yea they both were

both legends of different things, same place. that would have been awesome to be there

  • Ali and the Beatles didn't really click personally, but the press attention was good for both of them. Ali was later good friends with Elvis Presley.

  • @allahdas and vice versa

  • Yo diria leyendas conociendo leyenda!!!

  • i dont even shave aww! ROFL

  • Poor Richie

  • fight in his prime.

  • Frightening to think that we never saw Ali at his best. The closest to Ali at his peak was the Cleveland Williams bout in 1966. A lot of people think that THAT Ali would have beaten every other heavyweight in history. Against Williams he was fast, powerful, sharpe, entering his absolute prime. Angelo Dundee reckons Ali's peak would have been somewhere between '66 and '70, had he not been banned from fighting. Incredible that he's arguably the greatest heavyweight of all time, yet he never got to

  • Dundee thought that the Zora Folley fight showed him at his very best.

  • life was so much better back then

  • It sure was

  • thats cz u were young lol

  • rbbyled may i correct you there never was and never will be a heavyweight this ever!

  • There aren't heavyweights like this anymore.

  • Great clip. I have seen plenty of photos of Ali with the Beatles, but no footage. What a meeting of icons!

  • the fab four and clay, omg so unreal but aswome!

  • the 2 collest ppl in the world in one video

  • oh yes, you the greatest ali! also the same with the greatest band in the history, The Beatles! I am big Beatlemaniac and I am white, but Muhammad Ali is my truly sport hero!

  • can i just say that Sugar Ray Robinson is the best p4p fighter ever, Ali is about no.3 in my opinion behind Joe Louis

  • i'd put ali second ahead of louis, but yeah sugar ray is the greatest ever

  • muhammud ali/cassius clay was a damn good fighter and somewhat entertaining,,but great, not even close,,,cooper, jones frazier, foreman and spinks proved that,,he was a damn good fighter especially in big rings,,,you put him in a 16x16 foot ring, and louis, dempsey, maricano, liston, and tyson eat him alive,,nowhere to dance and run,,,unless the ref let him hold all night long,,and push opponents heads down,,,smaller ring,,the greats get him easily,,,big 21x21 foot rings,,ali/clay gets edge on most

  • ali not great get a grip

  • ali one ugly mofo his teeth

  • ANYBODY who speaks against Ali are bigots. This is true.

  • All you mother fuckers who write comments against muhammad ali are racist. He is the greatest of all time a true champion, a legend and king of the boxing. larry homes beat Ali because he was suffering from parkinson at that time and he was under doctors treatment. All U suckrs read about Ali before opening ur fucking mouth. All u suckers must know that neither Marciano,Archi mpore, joe luise nor Dempspey have been recognised as a sportsman of the century. Its Ali ....love u Champ

  • when it was first talked about,,it was said muhammed ali had parkinsons disease, presently it is said muhammed ali has parkinsons disease brought on by pugilistic dementia,,it seems that people dont want to bring up the fact a great fighter like muhammed ali indeed did take too many punches as if that would deflect from his his greatness,,but like jerry quarry,,fought too long with way too many tough fights,,people made money off ali and they kept giving him gift decisions to make more money

  • cassius clay was a good fighter,,not great,,great is joe louis,,rocky marciano, jack dempsey,,cassius clay getting pounded by larry holmes proved his greatness

  • cassius clay getting pounded by larry holmes

    proved he had parkinson syndrome.....

  • This guy nastylefthoo is a real Ali hater.

The fact that he would make mention of the Holmes Ai fight as if Ali was even close to his prime.

He doesn't mention The Louis Marciano fight.

i guess that menas Louis sucks cause he lost to a prime Rock.

  • dude give me a break don't ever compare marciano to ali, marciano made a name for himself by defeating a over the hill legend like joe louis the rest of them were cans but a few ali fought during the greatest era of heavyweights and beat them, ali was old and fucked when he got beat by holmes, ali is the greatest like it or not

  • joe frazier would kill all them old man

  • Ali said 'Hey you guysaren't as dumb as you look'. Lennon replied to his face ' Yeah but you are'... true story.

  • I think the four Beatles would have probably taken Ali in the ring...Maybe with Pete Best as well. Wouldn't hurt to have two drummers pounding on him!

  • I got a signed picture of Muhammad Ali posing with the Beatles. Signed by Ali

    Thats no lie, I swear

  • I believe you. You can send almost thing to Ali and ask for a signature and eventually he will send it back to you signed. His wife said in a interview once that he feels like it helps him get closer to God because he knows it will bring joy someone else's life. So I hope I don't burst your bubble, but Ali signatures aren't too rare.

  • love it

    thanks for the vid shammi

  • thats awesome, the best boxer ever and the best band ever meeting together ;)

  • good vid shammi love it

  • cool! I had only seen photos of the Beatles meeting..!

  • Great to view of Mr. Ali's Historical footage.Ali is still the Greatest of all time-of all time-of all time from the Candyman.

  • que condizion tenia ezte gran boxeador uno de loz mejorez zin duda alguna

  • hes a prophet. i love how in the zone he is at the end there....thanx for the awsum footage, well done.

  • I'm glad you all like this video. your welcome.

  • Great, Great footage. Two incredibly important and magnetic forces in popular culture united. Ali was in the prime of his life here, a exuberant young man ready to conquer the world, he still had many glorious and tough roads ahead of him. Beautiful.

  • 5 stars

the beatles and c clay are the greatest

    :D thankyou for this video

  • His name is Muhammad Ali, not Clay anymore. Please get it right.

  • this video is when he was called Clay

  • historic. Thanks so much for uploading.

  • He is still the greatest!!!

  • great thanks shammi

  • Funny that he says he will be the greatest heavyweight of all time so early in his career - even before he was champion and he was the greatest in the end. (4.15)

  • It's not funny exactly. I think he had a quote about how two things were important in boxing, skill and will, and willpower in the end was the greater of the two. If he wasn't so determined to be the greatest... he might not have been.

  • That is exactly what makes him the grestest.
