Sounding good is more important than playing 50 rudiments over 12 foot patterns.

Mike Mangini is the most boring drummer ever. He has a "rinse and repeat" style of drumming. Mike Portnoy was one of the first drummers to play with the style that he plays with. Mike Mangini is the most boring drummer ever. He has a "rinse and repeat" style of drumming. Mike Portnoy was one of the first drummers to play with the style that he plays with. People think that countless, flawless tempo changes are a simple thing. Remember, you have to make it all come together. And i am sorry to say that Mangini will only let all of you down.
