  • this is from the times when black people were yet to display their music culture to the world in WHITE america

  • this video is for the song and the amazing prople who sang and produced it not the game "Fall Out " eventhough fallout is a awsome game

  • Honestly it shouldn't really matter where people hear it -- it's nice to know good old music like this gets popularized every now and then... It's hard to find quality music in this day and age, and tracks like this are both nostalgic and majestic to listen to.

...Plus, some of these songs manage to set a mood in such a way that you could never achieve otherwise [bioshock is a classic example, I'd say. The music and setting MAKE the game to a whole 'nother level.]

  • Great way to express how much I love my girlfriend...

  • FALLOUT 3 IS 1 OF THE BEST GAMES ON XBOX_360

  • FALLOUT 3 :)

  • @chan5552 NO. FALLOUT 2, YOU MOOORROOOON. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?

  • @niklasvp uh...They used "Maybe" in F1 and Louis Armstrong's "A kiss to build a dream on" in F2. But I'm with you, fuck F3.

  • i love her =)

  • I do have to admit that the people that made the video game (fallout 3 and fallout new vegas) either did some solid music research or have some old folks on the creation team.....either way, Great song :D

  • thumbs up if Fallout 3 brought you here :D

  • we're all here because we love the song so can we please stop fighting because some of us are here after hearing it on a game and just listen to the song

  • I always wondered why their songs all seem to start out the same. I still like their music alot though, thanks to my grandpa.

  • Fall Out!

  • 21 people didn't see a Fallout Thumbnail

  • One word: Fall Out 3

  • @KillerXify That's 2.

  • great song love it <3

  • this song reminds me of pwning raiders

  • How about less focus on games and more focus on this here piece of art

  • @shashelasse video games aren't works of art?

  • @shashelasse Well, yes. Yes they can be... But these fallout fans nagging about the damn game instead of commenting something about the song itself, it gets rather annoying

  • @shashelasse i agree thy shold comment on how beautiful this song is

  • i love this song until 2:17

  • @KoreyC3 i rather like that part ithink its the part where everyone sings together

  • @angelicavaleria1209 I think they sound like a robot when they all sing together

  • i absolutly love this song i havent played fallout but i still love it

  • i like listening to this as i watch megaton go boom boom sorry megaton )=

  • every song on fallout is amazing!!!

  • i remember when i stumbled on my grandmas old albums and played this in her victrola. sounds so much better on record

  • @badaz181 i have had the pleasure of hearing it on record aswell

  • Ahh, I remember blasting raiders while listening to this song. I'd laugh every time I'd set them on fire while hearing him sing.

  • the first 15 seconds - Megadeth Set The World Afire

  • The singer is Black??

    I was 2000% certain he´s white. :O

  • @ChoskarChulian well thats why there called "The inkspots" think about an inkspot what color of they thats how they got there name if i recall

  • @ChoskarChulian Why do you think they called themselves The INK Spots? They're an all black band from the 50s.

  • @ChoskarChulian

    me too

  • 21 people don't like Fallout 3

  • I do.

  • I feel a inmensity peace when i hear this kind of music.

  • @DTCSRNI Agreed, along with lost sense of purity.

  • 21 people set themselves on fire

  • @callumjonesfam i usually hate these kind of comments but this made me chuckle

  • This song is GREAT.

  • Look, i'm not going to mention that I'm here for "fallout 3" or anything. I have my 6 year old step-brother singing this on a daily basis just because i knew about it for a bit and he likes it. Thank you, The Ink Spots, for a great song.

  • Fallout 3 is probably my favourite game, amazing, with the greatest song!

  • @Legion560 i like new vegas better but fallout is my second fav

  • where is the problem in the fact to be a hipster ?XD

  • First in fallout, second times in a film but still lov it !

  • can anyone give me a year? mid 1930s perhaps?

  • @kingjrlou its 40's dumbass

  • @ShannonFAVsongPG in 1941 it became 4 in the us charts

  • this song is the perfect soundtrack for fallout, walking in D.C., killing ghouls and drink nuka cola, all this listening this song, PERFECT!

  • Thanks ren. The Ink Spots rule!

  • Just a question: This song is from 1941, is it then public domain or somebody still claims copyright for it?

  • @mibars According to copyright (I think), the rights to something expire after no business has claimed right to it, and 70 years pass post the Author's passing. So I think the rights to Inkspots would have at least two or three decades left before the Inkspot's songs become public domain.

  • Forget the Enclave. Brother Hood is where it's at!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember this music from my grandparents, but it's because of Fallout that I rememberedhow good it is.

  • i thank fallout for showing me this good music

  • fallout nope, my fricking nan and grandad brought me here, now shove your thumbs up your arse and stop being noobies man...

  • I just fucking love this music, and I don't care what brought me here.

  • why does everything have to turn it to a debate and or fight. okay so some people like the music now because of the game. and others knew it before the game. so what?

  • @Nikk1312 Because people are fucking stupid.

  • i knew all this music before i even heard of fallout. nd im 15

  • Theres no need to be mad that fallout introduced this too us, because were all fans in the end and where we heard it doesnt really change that fact.

  • @gzuzkhrist - the problem with most of the fallout people is that they just stick with the songs on the game and then call themselves "fans". There are some exceptions of course but most are fans of the game not the music.

  • @the1musiclad How is that a problem?

  • Knowing who The Ink Spots are brought me here.

  • thanks fallout. i would have never known these awesome songs.

  • I did find this song in fallout along with other songs, but once I listen to these songs I want to listen to more songs from the artists and I find more artists to listen to and so on and so on. So fallout kind of help introduced me to some of the music I listen to. :)

  • WHo else is running GNR radio nonstop in fallout? :)

  • I liked this song before it was cool and in fallout. and im only 19 x.x

  • @MegaBeatlesfreak thank fucking god...sick of people having to use a video game to find REAL music

  • @evilass334 What's wrong with finding great music through a video game? Spreading great music take many forms, and video games is the next powerful way to do it.

  • @mikhelandrew I am so pleased to see my 16 year old grandson's musical taste broaden out due to video games. He is so excited to share these songs with me. It's wonderful. He plays trumpet in Jenison Marching Band and has a punk rock band with his friends.

  • @mikhelandrew Commercials on TV TO!

  • @MegaBeatlesfreak

    hipster

  • @SivyanGaming lol nah just an old soul.

  • @MegaBeatlesfreak Fuck you, people liked The Beatles before you did, so shut your fucking mouth you ignorant, hypocritical hipster.

    FUCK YOU

  • @DcDoMiNaTor what? lol one im not a hipster just an old soul and two, huh? lol all i said was i knew this song before fallout made it popular again. chill your nuts.

  • Fallout3!! *-*

  • surely some of you found these guys through the shawshank redemption? no?

  • @rockinelectronicbeat At the start of the movie, when Andy is in the car?

  • @rockinelectronicbeat Yeah man, thats where i found it

  • This song never gets old.

  • If this song was a a pancake...it would be a very good pancake ^_^

  • @DjMonotint it would be an awesome pancake, even more when you had the original

  • @DjMonotint no it wouldnt... it would be the best pancake ever...

  • War. War never changes....

  • Finally I find a video about a song that is in Fallout 3 that doesn't mention Fallout 3!

  • Bethesda ruined fallout.

  • @dzhibrish #mainstream

  • @dzhibrish Definitely. But I just played the New Vegas, and it's fairly better than the other crap. but it was made by obsidian, thankfully and clearly.

  • war... war never changes

  • A time when people knew nothing about nutrition , but boy ...they knew how to dress !

  • absolutely brilliant

  • such brilliance

  • 350,000th viewer!

  • I'm addicted to this song because of Fallout. :) I run off to the "GNR" radio station as soon as I start a character and fix the radio array so I can listen to the song all across the wasteland. :D

  • The Ink Spots are fine, but Velvet Remedy is better.

  • @RomanLettore Fallout: Equestria Buck yeah.....kinda sucks that it ended though, wanted to know what happened to rainbow dash

  • God this would of been good in the 1st world war

  • thank you fallout, for introducing me to the good oldies :)

  • @XxHizzyxX The same for me and 47 people!

  • @XxHizzyxX You know a game has good music when it makes you look up and learn about musicians you would have never cared about before. Cage the elephant needs to thank borderlands otherwise they wouldn't have their huge fanbase now, that song exploded after that game came out.

  • LOL i just played fall out 3 with all dlcs because of the music!:D

  • fallout came to mind immediately...

  • Comment removed

  • i pleasure my self to this song

  • I hate people who listen to this just because it was on a game the like. Sure there are people who have played the game and like the music for different reasons, I have nothing against that. But otherwise it just annoys me. (Just FYI. I heard these before I played Fallout 3. Not to blagg or anything. I just have a soft spot for old music)

  • @XiDarkEntropyiX well i have to thank bethesda for using this song because i used to hate fallout until this song got stuck in my head

  • Comment removed

  • @XiDarkEntropyiX

It's too much to be thankful that the game introduced such a classic to a generation that otherwise might have never heard it, isn't it?

    Geez...

  • @XiDarkEntropyiX whats wrong with giving this song a little exposure?

  • i love some nice fallout songs mostly this, though most of fallout songs are 40's music from 1940's not to confuse u with some 2040 from fallout years and our years. good ur not confused right?

  • I love that music

  • i remember just noddng my head to this when im playing fallout:)

  • war.. war never changes

  • Where and when was this Song made?

  • @Bixforever you know have internet...

  • Amazing. This is a great song. The tempo wonderful. Thanks for posting it

  • Much better than actual songs.

An awesome game needs an awesome soundtrack.

  • Great song. Really goes with the game.

  • beautiful song:)

  • @WISKYJOE2 this is shit, like your father and your mother?

  • wheres thee explosion and hard riffs! hahaha

  • @jonnycow1990 LOL!

  • MEGADETH <3

  • Just epic music and btw i came here from fallout 3 too shouldnt you oldschool people find it great that the younger generations are brought here by new media ?

  • @jojo86XXjojo86 Thats exactly what i think. It seems like those douchebags just want a new reason to complain.

  • Thumbs up if fallout brought you here

  • @WISKYJOE2 get out troll

  • fallout ? no. i just love good music :)

  • What year is this?

  • @themythbuster100 mid 1930's I think

  • fallout 3 is to damn epic

  • Damn I love fallout 3

  • How did I get here from the Dark Knight Rises Trailer?

  • Now I want to play fallout :) for the 50th time

  • Megadeth!!!!

  • nope, megadeths so far, so good, so what

  • So I'm wondering. How did we get from here, to NIGGER FUCK SHIT STACK NIGGA NIGGA BITCH ASS NIGGA

  • @mamba109 I thought that video was a parody. Or have I been grossly misled?

  • @mamba109 you listen to the wrong music, you are talking about mainstream, those black people are played like puppets so as to have people like you judging the entire black community in such a way. Most hip-hop will talk about real things.. like the world, the governments, the lies and tricks and evils of people. you just have to wade through all the tools

  • Mmm.

  • For people who are wondering: this song came back to fame when it was featured in the videogame Fallout 3 - an older and less popular version of Fallout: New Vegas

  • @Blurtex33 I would say fallout3 was more popular then NV, definitely a bigger deal anyway... Man that opening cutscene was epic though...

  • @pedro3131 You would "say". But the ratings/sales SHOW different.

  • Oh great... Thanks a lot. Now I'm going to get this stuck in my head for another 2 months.

  • @avatarofhope2 Same here, man. Can't say I'm complaining, though.

  • BIOSHOCK!

  • reddit has viruses

  • [speech] reddit users took my highest rated comment. give it back.

  • @jaskamiin mu haha

  • Fallout > The Elder Scrolls

  • @andyeddy8

    NO!

    Fallout = The Elder Scrolls

  • @andyeddy8 Got to agree with Daedalus.

  • @andyeddy8 Fool

  • Oh god the nostalgia. The Fallout nostalgia. I can't take it.

  • @srj6w4u No need to hate bro, all that matters is we're listening to awesome music.

  • @srj6w4u incorrect

  • Makes me think of Rapture from Bioshock. I know, that's probably a bad thing. =/
