  • Nice voice and music but it sounds like indian music to me. sorry to say this.

  • We are all influenced by others no matter what culture.

  • I understand that, but what I was saying is that everyone is influenced in someway by others. There is nothing wrong with that. What I find great is that it ends up becoming a part of a culture in it's own way.

  • I don't think you get what I am saying. I'm saying that cultures influence each other.

  • yea..dats wat i thought wen i heard it 2...my friend think am weird coz it an african song and i dont kno it coz am african...lol

  • Yes, I know cuz they feel how wonderful the song is that it's why. But I really like it a lot.

  • There seem to be some confusion about the language. This is HAUSA language spoken as a lingua franca in the Northern part of Nigeria. Also spoken in about six West African Countries like Ghana, Niger, etc. You hardly get to hear them because they don't have any kind of promotion unlike songs from Southern Nigeria.

  • can sum1 tell me wat dis sweet song means...imma african 2 but i dont kno wat language iz dis

  • can sum1 really tell me wat language iz dis..am african 2 but i cant seem 2 kno wat language iz it...i luv deh song & i dont even kno wat dey sayin....help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice music but what kind of music is lg is thi

  • great song, one of my best songs.

  • good

  • Oh, I understand that it's Nigerian Hausa music. However, based on a general comparison to the music across the continent (particular the music of western and central Africa), I find that it has some striking similarities to other music of the regions I mentioned above... particularly the vocal inclinations, and tone progressions.

  • For instance, compare this music to that found in Ghana, Cameroon, or even southern Nigeria...

...now compare it to Malian and Ethiopian music. They share strong vocal and tonal qualities that aren't found in other African music.

  • Thanks for the info:)

  • Very interesting how Muslim regions of West Africa have music so similar to that of East Africans (Ethiopians).

  • That was very nice with the stranlation for us to understand. Nice saying of the Deen Al-Islam and true. These are North Nigerians right? Corret me if I am wrong. Because I think the Muslims are in the North right? No wonder why their songs are soo similar to the kinds of songs and nasheeds in other Muslim countries of Africa.

    Masha Allah

  • kun birge ne sosai wallahi

  • good and teaching vocals for those who cherish the teachings of God.

  • sanafahna to all africans man...Hausawa ku ne Yare

  • Wallahi I never tire of this song. I can listen to it all day! It has this Sudanese/Arab beat to it that so touches my heart. And the vocals... LOVELY... especially the male part.
