First, you din't take Kajhit's (was that the name of the panther dude?) steel armor, and right afterwards you don't kill those 3 adventurers. I ran into those today (my first day of having the game), killed them, and got some really cool armor. It has the protecting capabilities of heavy armor, but is light armor. I was like "NO, P! GET THE COOL STUFF!"

@PaperBatVG right pbat this is a glitch u can use, if u get 100 pickpocketing, get the perk to pickpocket equipped items, go to the thieves guild and theres an archer firing arrows, replace his with one you want lots of, he'll fire them and u can pick them up, if not go to the solitude archery place,put an arrow you want in his pocket then at 8 follow him to bed, take his steel arrows, wait till 8 in the morning and he will fire your arrows

Really PBat you either use fast travel more frequently or get into enchanting, smithing and alchemy :) It would make it a lot more enjoyable ;) On the other hand you rock!

It would be fine if PBat's whole "No fast travel thing" meant he actually took the time to enjoy all the things you find in the wilderness: alchemy materials, ores, other locations, monsters, but he doesn't and that's why I think it's completely ridiculous and time-consuming. Besides, the "major cities" aren't even key points on the map.

This quest for me is extremely hard for some reason.. Like I had an easier time with dragon priests rather than these bandits I think it may have something to do with me being lvl 26, I've tried everything and still can't beat them.. I use good armor and weapons too

When using your bow for long range kills you need to compensate your altitude accordingly based on the distance of the shot! (basically aim the cross-hair a tad over the target so the arrow will hit the target as it is falling to earth.) A bow is not a gun and is more affected by gravity. It's not all about getting the target "in your sights"

Yo p, since ur an archer, u want to be light on your feet, I recommend a light set of armor and duel daggers, just in case, my elven armor has gotten me out of scrapes that a heavily armored character would not survive.
