Youre nice game will be destroed in no time, updates will cost more than the orig, and so on, but have fun with Aion, back in the days, before 2.0 and all that PVP disturbing Bull**** like riftdebuffs and so on, it was a hell of a game, but now?

Awesome vid, and I agree with BloodDragon.. Yeah been A LOT of updates. 3.0 is up soon.. I just did an installation for a friend, (2.0 to 2.7), took about 3-4 hours for updates, so be prepared if you do start up again, and they should have a "reactivation event" soon where you get to play for 2 weeks for free with your old acct.

I've tried AION. My main was an Asmodian Templar, loved it. My char kinda looked like Milla from resident evil.

Too bad leveling takes ages in AION.

You should check out the 2.5 patch trailer ;) then just look at the end part of it for a teaser of 3.0 I think you will be pleasantly surprised how far the game has come in a year of making this video, im also pretty sure there is a model viewer around. Some guy that gets featured in the Aion Magazine all the time uses it.

I was one of the ones who played the Aion Head-start, i quit aion 3 months ago when test-server fist came up.

regardless of if you decide to create more Aion machinima, this one is spectacular, you have done a brilliant job. What i played of Aion i enjoyed, but it was honestly far to busy for me, and way WAY too many gold spammers lol. they drove me nuts!

@xXXSouloftheStormXXx The difference between blizzard and Ncsoft is blizzard does care about heir members NCSOFT does not. Experiences in Lineage 2 told me ncsoft lies cheats its players. They blame all hacks on the person, when most hacks in L2 came from inside ncsoft back then. They allowed botting as their kick backs were more then their few thousand subscribers. AION is a beautiful game no doubt, but everything L2 is AION, So long as Ncsoft manages anything it will never change

@ZombieMascot Havnt grinded a second, and made level 50 in no time. Just people are so used to and lazy thanks to WoW's mechanics. Don't get me wrong, i'm an old Wow veteran myself, but cmon. MMO's are mean't to be hard and be a bit time-consuming.

@Sygorian i had played WoW since beta and tried out aion here a week or two again and i can tell you.. its alot more fun to play than WoW because there are so many things thats better. i mean like.. a instance is really a challange and a boss is a pain to kill. its not something you can just pew pew and the music in the game is just lovely, the spell animations is great looking and well.. in short Aion is alot more fun and more amazing than WoW. in my eyes anyways

Erhmmnmm. I left WoW after 3 years. And what do I play now? Aion. It makes me awe at the little things, for example when it's raining, my character takes out a leaf to cover under. All I'm going to say is: just as ANY form of relationship can get boring, so can MMO's. It's just silly to pick on players playing other MMO's than yourself.

DAoC was a great pvpgame, but WoW was far better at the PVE aspect, unfortunately WoW no longer has the same challenge to it in PvE and thus it has lost what made it so good before, it is however still a good game, but far from the first MMO.

Aion is far from over it is still new after all more expansion leave more improvement.And ncsoft if pretty good at what they do And there not losing hardly anyone I see so many people in it comming from other games. I may still be new at it but not planing on leaveing anytime soon.

its only a huge dissapointment to people who need a game simplified. If you played WoW back in the day, when MC and Ony were new all the way up to the first xpack TBC, you played real WoW...its gone down hill fast, I think the application of the Crysis Engine and the ability to make the game as complex as you can by learning game mechanics is exactly how a game should be. No MMO or perpetual game should be locked down to 4 button, and if you raid in WoW you should know that it is.

I made my experience with WoW and 3 years is enough MMO experience. Until another really great and innovative MMO comes out, i won't touch any of those games. Aion just doesn't cut it, it's just the same old pattern and just another game which wants to compete with WoW and fails miserably.
