Wow! Thank you for posting this song. I haven't heard it since the summer of '84 and I'd been trying for a long time to find it with no luck. I originally had it on a 45 but it got stolen (believe it or not). I used to hear it every once in a while when I was "cruisin' through the gulfstream" and it was so clever that I laughed everytime I heard it -- still do! Great memories. Thanks again.

Remember hearing this tune in the early 80's on Eagle 93.1FM in Indianapolis,IN. Never heard it again on Indy radio and now live in S.Fla and still haven't heard on the local 80's station or on the internet. The song didn't crack the Hot 100 in the eightees,but it is extremely creative and entertaining.

I did not know there was a video made of that song. First time in 26 years that I've heard it. Over the years I heard it on WKNC at NC State and WREK at Georgia Tech.

I memorized this monologue for a play I auditioned for when I was twelve years old, after taping it off (where else?) Dr. Demento. To this day (at 38) I can still recite it...though it's funny because some of the lines I managed to cut out of my version. For instance, as a twelve year old the "blown a seal" line kinda went over my head. Fun to see this though - never knew there was a video!
