  • If you made your two scribe marks 230mm apart then center radius (plural: radii) will be half the diameter at 115mm which could be verified by "X" making the spot; just drawing from upper left too lower right and upper right too lower left of the two perpendicular scribed lines.

  • Basically creating two right triangles with the X being the Hypotenuse of each respectively.

  • Cheers for the advice SirTragain. My marking system is a bit ad lib to say the least! :) Next motor mount that is made I will certainly be thinking a little more clearly on how to make it up. It works none the less! :) Glas you like the vids. I will try to get another done over the weekend if possible.

  • I used angle too, but it was steel.... weighs 13lbs right now... You can always improve it later. Its your first bike right? Mine too, and there's always room for improvement.

  • Yeah this is my first bike so I am looking for materials that I can work with easily at home. In the future I will use aluminum! I have another bike in the pipeline also but not giving away too much on it for the moment. :)

  • For my battery racks i used aluminum angle welded into boxes which were then formed into a battery tower with more angle. Then to hold the batteries steady i used a few large tie down straps.
