well said, government stole tax money to bail out failed banks, now were being asked to fork out more money instead of bankers losing their billion £ bonuses... what we have in EU/USA is corporatism (fascism) not capitalism.
@legendiam870310 a solution? how about no government, in the history of man no government has been able to produce better circumstances than non-violent interaction between men... if we can get peaceful & voluntary interactions between people without middlemen, violence or coercion... we shouldnt ever suffer this problem again.
The protester in question is completely right of course. Capitalisms fundamental values (the reasons why it is supposed to be a good idea) dictate that the system is self-regulating, but only when bad decisions are left to fail and die out. We'd only have a problem if those fundamentals were proven not to work, but we'll never know for sure if we keep throwing money at the problem rather than actually properly implementing capitalism.

ahwell it cant go on forever, and once it all collapses as it inevitably will if they keep on like this, we'll have libertarianism by default

It's a start, I'll probably be dead before it catches on.
Politicians, make more problems than they solve.
I can't actually think of any good they do?
