@laylietha blank likes (with regular dashes) mean to NOT play that string. at 2:58 to 3:08 u just cover the string up with ur finger so it wont make a sound when played

The numbers are known as guitar tabs. Its really easy to read. Just google some simple guides that'll help you understand what those numbers/lines represent. Basically, it shows the strings, frets, when to slide, when to hammer on etc. :)
