Great tune, not a bad one off the whole album "Fall Among Thieves"
Saw Baskery last year at the Calgary Folk Fest, fantastic band, crowd loved them. Luckily will get to see them again this year as they're returning to the province. Half way around, and by all the comments I see they're well liked wherever they go.
I LOVE Baskery, I can't believe I didn't even know they existed until I heard them live at Stokes Bay festival. :D I love this song and also Oscar Jr Restaurant Bar!
@Minimstar Sunniva got to playing this song on top of the drum last friday. She does do some high kicks while playing,so the step up looked to be easy for her. I'll try and get it loaded on here today.
Take a listen to this CMT and please give them some exposure in Canada. These woman have a great sound and their musicianship is powerful. I love how they are so feminine yet have this great strength about them. Hope to hear a lot more of their brilliant style on our airwaves
Saw them last night in Perth, Scotland and they played this. Bloomin' mind blowin! Greta did this amazing... well, one can only describe it as a mosh, really - on her banjo, and DAMN was it great!
I saw them supporting Seth Lakeman in Falmouth last November. Absolutely great. I bought their album from the merchandise stall that night and I don't think I've stopped listening to it yet.
I went to see them at the Half Moon in Putney last sunday fecking brill.....with luck i'll see them in Southampton as well ....make the effort folks well worth it ....
