  • Just imagine if all top eight in tournaments were first to ten. There would be only one victor. Ever! haha;)

  • lol hella daigo haters are watching the video

  • Doesn't matter how technical anyone gets. At the end of the day Daigo is still #1 and no one can do what he did. Poongko is using the over powered boss of the game and everyone is giving him respect as if seth is a normal character. Either way Daigo will be prepared for 2012! I love humble people!

  • i also like daigo he is very humble i grew up with loudmouth players always talking trash and its nice to see such a focus humble player. poongko is a beast though and his seth is amazing i cant wait to see the next evo. will ssf4 ae be in next evo or is it only be sf vs tekken.

  • lol one of the guys in the back :O there whole time lmao

  • Seth must not have been playable character. Too powerful and imbalance.

  • @jaguar004 He wasn't in Vanilla. He's gotten some really severe nerfs, and there's a reason why there are less than 10-15 good Seth players in the world, but a TON of Yun players.

  • @axiiomXD lol seth was in vanilla, and after the 2012 patch, the player numbers are almost the opposite

  • @Broshadian Wasn't there a big bandwagon to ban Seth? I know he was in Vanilla (as I played him back then) but I believe that he was either tournament banned or people were pushing to get him banned

  • @axiiomXD

I don't know why. He can't be that over powered as he isn't really repped in a large way other than Poongko. Also I believe he is one of the lowest HP characters in the game, you can see from this vid that a single mistake costs big time. Although I'm comparing AE Seth, don't know what changes he got from Vanilla to AE.

  • @ALLoY202 He had even less HP in Vanilla, but he had an immaculate zoning game with his neutral jump HP (which was Dhalsim's stretchy arms/Yoga Sniper). Also he had some better SPD's, better teleports, better toetaps, and apparently a whole mess of other awesome things :P

  • I love how i once said on here poongko beat diago where it mattered in evo the biggest scene, running sets mean nothing in comparison. Then sephirosuy started loving up diago calling me a fool. Then lg cup finals (again big tournament scne) , poongko wins again.

Still want to ride diago like a train?

  • @ibrarmfaiz poongko is a great player.. but he has no evo under his belt

  • @BayAreaYackemTV shadowloo, lg, no of korean cups, hes not represented in evo enough but when he goes anywhere he owns

  • Daigo - 2 EVOs

    Poongko - 0

    Fuudo - 1

Rest of the world - 0

But Poongko really makes the USA look free, almost as much as Daigo does.

  • @jkksung poongko defeated daigo yesterday at lg cup this was the results

    1st poongko

    2nd daigo

    3rd justing wong

    4th fuudo

  • @jkksung and daigo has won evo 5 times not 2 times he won at 2003, 2004, 2006, 2009,2010 evo

  • @AbirZenith he won evo 2011

SUPER STREET FIGHTER 2 Turbo ;)

  • You can't really fault Daigo. Good winner and loser. He wins, he doesn't jump around the fucking place trying to dry jump anything he lays his eyes on.

  • why does nobody play as vega?

  • @profoundwolf He sucks.

  • @profoundwolf he is a low tier character with terrible life and more difficult to handle.i'vew tried him many times..he has also shitty priorities if you know what i mean...ryu is so broken from my point of view

  • That last round by Daigo was so godlike. He made every read he needed to and came back perfectly. Poongko played well too, but Daigo was just... Daigo.

  • just a spoiler result for those who are lazy to find out at the end of the video

    daigo 10 poongko 6

  • Lg Cup Champ Poongko and like always haters gonna hate keep doing your jobs

  • So lets go another salty ft10 for daigo after losing to poongko again on a mayor lol

  • no mames 14 horas al dia que vagos y en el internet hay mucho inche vago tambien

  • I'm still a beginner and here's what I question about. Why don't people uppercut divekicks?

  • @ericchenli66 Well first of all its not that easy to react to dive kicks,, lets say yun or yang or rufus jumps,, if you uppercut and the the yun yang or rufus player decides to just jump instead of a dive kick ,, you leave yourself open for a combo,,,

  • @ericchenli66

it will become an exchange where both are hit, and sometimes you see yun players or characters with dive kicks neutral-jumping, they are trying to bait out a DP (uppercut).

  • @ericchenli66

and idk if you noticed but most of the dive kicks are aimed at the legs of the opponent (rarely at the upper body) this is so that it is a "safe" attack and you can block it if someone tries to uppercut (also you can link the attack if it connects). however if dive kicks are aimed above the legs it is not longer safe. i think its something like a safe jump.

  • Bbvg s

  • hai hai hai hai hai hai hai......

  • such a bad game..

  • @leinad131986 bad?

  • notice, the further the matches go, the easier time Daigo has to win against against Poongko.

    @.@;

  • man...more perfects

  • @XxGonixXFAN wtf... These were poongko's words

  • DAM 48 HIT COMBO FROM POONGKO IS INSANE AND INSANE COMEBACKS FROM DAIGO AS WELL ALTHO I THINK DAIGO WENT KINDA EASY ON HIM FROM THE START EVEN THO HE WAS STILL WINNING LOL

  • I'm glad Daigo won to show he is still a threat, Daigo & Poongko should tear up EVO 2012!

  • @LethalBlazeK Since when was the Best Street Fighter Player of All-Time never a threat? :/

  • @Alexwkj He's not the best in Japan....

  • @MrSav4life What the lame?! Daigo is widely considered to be the best SF player of ALL-TIME. Fuudo, Iyo, Tokido, Mago and any Japanese players are no match against him if they play a best to 10 or something. He's THE BEAST for a reason...

  • @Alexwkj No, he's considered best because he got it done in the past. and FT10 means shit when you can't win when it counts. Which Daigo showed he can't win em all. He had his time and now Uryo is quickly proving he's probably the best. Mago is a close second, then I would say Daigo and then BT Latif as for best in the world.

  • @MrSav4life Yes, and that's all that matters. Uryo may be good now, but at an all-time level, he's no match for Daigo. When you talk bout the best SF players of all-time, only players like Justin Wong are within the discussion. Just cause he lost 1 match during the quarter-finals of whatever tournament doesn't mean he sucks now. There's always a possibility to defeat Daigo if you play him 100000 times and that may be the case in those tournaments.

  • @Alexwkj How is that all that matters? He hasn't placed top 8 in a tourny in like 4 years. When you talk about the best players of all time, you of course get Daigo/ Justin Wong they've won the most(not the most recently) and Everyone is saddled on their sacks like it's a horse race. Last I checked Daigo hasn't made it into QF or out of it in 4 years not just 1. He was the best, now he's maybe 3rd, face it dude there are better people now.

  • @MrSav4life lol you're a prick. Daigo was 2010 evo champ. "Daigo hasn't made it into QF or out of it in 4 years not just 1." LOLOLOLOLOLOL pwned. Last you checked my ass. 4 years my ass. Factless retard. haters will be haters :o

  • @TheTimbatu Ok first of all wether it be 4 years or 4 months, point is he hasn't fucking placed top 8 in a while. Last I checked he got checked in 2011 evo like a scrub, he got served 2 rapes in a row by Latif and Poongko. Fucking idiots thinking since the info wasn't 100% they're right, doesn't change the fact that he got fucking served and made look like a scrub on live stream. Lemme ask you this, Whens the last time you've been impressed by something Daigo did? Been a while right?

  • @MrSav4life stop saying last you checked, you dont check shit, you're overusing those 3 words. hell you dont know shit. i hate people who talk about things they dont even know and act like they do. and no =.= he didnt get checked in 2011 evo like a scrub =.= . But he did get perfected one round and beating by poongko(excellent seth). but they played best out of 10 and daigo won 7/10. so really, stop talking when you never watch or check up stuff. you're talking out of your ass

  • @TheTimbatu Why does every retard Daigo Dick rider think thats beating Poongko in a FT10 that doesn't mean shit, makes it all better? For starters he got owned when it mattered, and to top it off he Tier whored and got raped By a C tier Character at the time(C.viper) Not to mention his utter destruction By Poongko. Get off his dick please...

  • @MrSav4life lol i give up trying to talk to you, you just talked about tier when you have no clue what you're talking about. C.Viper Vs Yun? Seth Vs Yun? do you know the meaning of a bad matchup? guess not, get off the computer please.

  • @TheTimbatu WTF???? DO YOU REALIZE WTF YOU JUST SAID"? OMFG GO CHECK OUT A FUCKING TIER LIST AND BAD MATCH UP LIST! YUN IS AT THE TOP OF THAT SHIT FOR EVERY FUCKING CHARACTER! He's still A+ tier after all his nerfs! Kazunoko The worlds #1 Yun outright statedd he had 0 bad match-ups. and if you're wondering a bad match-up is when 1 character has a less than 50% win ratio against another data wise. Yun was so fucking broken he was 7-3 on everyone at the very least. GTFO retard.

  • @TheTimbatu Also by you're logic, just because it was a bad match up means that gives Daigo, an excuse for tier whoring. Especially since one of his worst Match-ups(against Akuma, he's fucking 8-2 against him) He's usually seen beasting on him. I have yet to see 1 Akuma, outright own a Yun. I have however seen Yun's making Akumas look like scrubs. Tier list and bad match-ups mean shit when you have pro players playing, next excuse please. Get off my internet fag.

  • @MrSav4life However on a positive note. i do agree that there are many great players now. really there are many excellent SF players.

  • @LethalBlazeK Poongko is a huge faggot.

  • I'de Love to see Daigo vs Inthul

  • lol they even make the promotion before the fight ... UFC 154 daigo vs bullshit lol

  • I will never respect daigo for using Yun/Ryu. He is an OP whore......

  • @anonymous11404 daigo is already using ryu

  • God damn, I couldn't imagine doing 14 hours of Street Fighter O_O

  • Daigo just announced in mikado's website that he will retire in 2012, pretty bad =/

  • @Johnyster He's retiring cause he got P'd on at evo2011... he should retire after facing that loss in front of the entire world.

  • game starts at 2:30

  • LMAO XD OMG 15:15 "suck my diick" lol

  • thats why you finish someone off

  • 2 perfects!

  • perfect!

  • Actually both players are respectful and only americans came up with this rivalry bullshit, go find someone in the same level and tell him to try to win a tourney in their own country

  • Respect to Both Players , shame to those who hate any one of them!! Daigo and Poongki All the way!

  • @AbirZenith

Yeaaahhh anus face just shut up. You are always and forever a loser without even trying.

    HAHAHA Poongki. He's your brother?

  • Wow. while Im glad round 3 was a bitch slap.

It was won with only 3 landed hits into combo.

no match should ever be possible to win after only 3 combos.

i dont care if you dumb every single bar you have at it. or how "20 percent less" someones hitpoints are from character selection.

  • Daigo plays Ryu agian hes taking next years evo

  • @FatalxAccuracy Ryu is nerfed tho

  • @jamesdante1101 Ryu actually got some buffs.

  • @akumagod07 nowhere as good as the other version tho

  • @jamesdante1101 if ur talking about ssf4 then ya that's true.

  • @akumagod07 it's not like ryu is unplayable but I prefer daigo's yun at the moment. I 've seen too many vids of him playing ryu something different for a change.

  • @jamesdante1101 ya but ever since ver. 2012 came out, yun has been nerfed pretty bad. i heard daigo said that he's not gonna continue using yun. and right now, i can't find any footage of daigo playing ver. 2012.

  • let say

we have a beast of japan

    a best of korea

    they fight together

not because they want to fight

    but to share experiences

  • Comment removed

  • 5:14 hilariously amateurish.

  • poongko is still the fkn man and my fav!! gud shit

  • THIS IS DAIGO TAKING HIS REVENGE FOR EVO!

  • well done daigo, 10- 6

    impressiv 7 -2 lead.

too bad this didnt happen at evo.

  • these two characters can finish each other in a short time

  • @21:49 seths stinky athletes foot lol

  • Can someone translated what daigo said?

  • Spoke to Poongko at RFD in holland, he said that he was lucky on Evo2011 because daigo didnt know the matchup, i also asked him what the difference is between him and daigo and he honestly answered me this: Daigo has to many years of experience, thats why i train sometimes up to 14 hours a day to try and see if i can reach that level one time. Daigo for now is still to good for me. I hope i can beat him in the future. But for now he still the best out there. Poongko

  • @FinestFighters

    14 hours a day. lol.

  • @FinestFighters poongko is the best

  • @FinestFighters Proof of this or are you just another Daigo butthurt fanboy?

  • @FinestFighters :D thumbs up for that poongko is a very respectful player for saying that. nice!

  • @FinestFighters

Congrats to you Jap blowers. The Korean blowers will be upset though.

  • @FinestFighters Legitly humble. But why must he do all those 'stripping' showmanship before his match against Daigo during EVO2011?

  • oh shit 41:46! who win???

  • Also Daigo recently started a Gouki card so that might be hinting he might switch to Gouki or maybe Ken, I don't think the buffs that Ryu had will get Daigo back on Ryu maybe he'll keep Ryu 2nd and Yun 3rd or vice versa either way I wanna see who he's going to beast with in AE 2012.

  • Everyone should just stop with the hate, they're both excellent players in the end.

  • Can anyone translate daigos interview as well?

  • hey anyone else wanna see a rematch now between Latif and Daigo???

  • shut up and put your shirt on

  • daigo in ssf4ae 2012=garbage total

  • @fernandowhizard You = garbage total (Oh, was that good English) ? LOL

  • Hey guys, this is the beasts revenge. Hey guess what he he beat him 7-3 again. Guess what else hehehehe Daigo never had much seth experience and pfft after evo who had the balls to go into an arcade and continue playing oh yeah daigo! Who came in there you say? Poongko! Him and Daigo fought and well Poongko got owned. He may have won on stage but in the end daigo is going to figure him out so much that it's over. Poongko is my second favorite but daigo is always my first! GO DAIGO!!!

  • where are the daigo haters?

  • @metalicmeatballs where are the daigo fanboys?

  • Who won the grudge match?

  • @Mikesta511 Daigo,, 7-3...

  • @Abirxtreme0001 Thanks.

  • daigo dickriders everywhere lmao

  • @FistOfSoySauce Man I guys people who say dick riders must love dick, considering you are insulting people based on a topic that has nothing to do with dick. Sorry, truth hurts.

  • Comment removed

  • Ryu, Yun, dnt matter. He can beast with both. He has 2 major weapons not to mention his really good guile

  • @TheNEOONE1 hes guile is BEASTLY!!!!

  • Daigo Defeated poongki 22-8 right after EVO 2011 AND NOW THIS!! TALK ABOUT REVENGE!! but i hope people don't forget poongko just cause he lost to daigo now,, i mean he still is pretty great

  • Daigo rules! Fuck poongko!

  • Daigo won but I have yet to see him perfect poongko. Great work guys.

  • Daigo Please let me suck you

  • lol poongko dick riders need to learn their facts. Daigo has consistently bodied poongko after evo. 22-8 in 1 set and now he wins this set too.

  • @YukiNagato3 lol who cares what people say. both are very good players

  • @YukiNagato3 lol who cares what people say. both are very good players

  • @YukiNagato3 Doesn't matter, thats like a team losing in the regular season and then winning the Super Bowl, play well when it counts or I don't give a damn.

  • can someone translate what daigo is saying for the interview.

  • You know, the crowd chants something in every live event when Yun starts his jugle, does anyone know what it is?

  • The spoilers were removed.

You can thumbs down any comments that say the description has spoilers now.

Also you should watch the video with synced quality, found in the description.

  • That was an awesome set. There is a lot of guess in PoongKO style and, as I can see, Daigo has learnt the lesson very well since the last time at EVO.

Anyway, two great players! Hope to see more of them.

  • Cana nyone translate what Daigo said?

  • Comment removed

  • damnit I was hoping it wasnt going to be 40minutes of yun

  • Poongko's Interview:

"I had a bit of greed to win. To speak the truth, I came into this fight not expecting to win. It was a relief that I didn't lose by double score (10-5) or even (10-0) so it turned out better than I thought. At the tournament (EVO), I thought I had a lot of luck on my side. However, I will still continue to do my best."

  • @attitude8x swag

  • Hi, another video uploaded with proper audio sync here (sorry for trouble):

    /watch?v=UXU4v9kpHoc

  • [ [ [ S P O I L E R A L E R T ] ] ] :

I really doubt there are a handful of players in the world that could have done what the winner did to the loser under the first to 10 circumstances I'd like to see the loser playing other games apart from SFIV.

  • Comment removed

  • i just seen daigo @ taito station ( shinjuku) a few weeks ago but he was using Ryu. maybe he just play casually with ryu

  • @graphitesoul well not really the patch really weakened yun and so seth was alos nerfed in the latest patch.. i think daigo may just change his main back to ryu cause of all the changes the patch bought

  • Holy Audio Desync batman

  • CAN SOMEONE TRANSLATE WHAT POONGKO AND DAIGO ARE SAYING?

  • @Daren2007 Poongko and Daigo are not talking about the match in this video, the voice is coming from the two commentators who are watching the online stream from Topanga TV, and Ponngko and Daigo seem having matches in Topanga cup, I guess.

  • @coolboylulu They spoke at the end of the vid.

  • Poongko, Seth doesn't have gief's jab spd range.

  • Overall, very nice match. Satisfied. Daigo played very solid and unlike Evo 2011, he made fewer mistakes. On the other hand, Poongko made anticipation blunders and silly mistakes (i.e. powering up when Daigo was dizzy) which caused him to lose some rounds.

  • can someone please translate/ add subtitles to this. would love to understand what's being said during & post match.

  • When poonko do seth flavor , can destrooy daigo def all the time.

  • Alot of Poongko fanboy's making excuses for him as usual lol

  • @DestructiveVirusX Why would that be? Seth has always been a high risk, high reward character. Absolutely nothing is surprising about this.

  • That's not Daigo, that's his friend

  • @evafan427 No. It's only Daigos friend during the games that he looses. The real Daigo played the games that he won.

  • @yoshimek3 I know you're joking, but I still think it's funny to imagine someone looking at the EVO games and saying, "Clearly Daigo's friend playing."

  • damn. mago makes Dhalsim looked deezed....

  • OR THEY CAN PUT JON KABIRA AS NARRATOR

GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL

  • WE NEED A JAPANESE YIPES FOR GOD'S SAKE

  • I'm glad I didn't read the description. :)

  • these guys are the best. BTW seth is my favorite character. SWAG!!...

  • Who cares? If i remember in a real tourney and on the grand scale of them all Poongko perfected Diago and schooled him. Tourny Evo Finals > Running set

  • @ibrarmfaiz Yeah, Poongko did perfect him at Evo. That was a great fight, but that one tournament clash doesn't mean Daigo was schooled. I think Daigo respects Poongko's obvious talent which is why they played again. Daigo has nothing to prove.

  • @ibrarmfaiz lol w/e makes you feel better, bro. keep makin dem excuses. Poongko only beat daigo at evo because of how random he was being, now that he doesnt have that he gets bodied.

  • @ibrarmfaiz oh poongko fanboy

  • @ibrarmfaiz

That's a silly mentality. It's all about consistency regardless of setting. I'm also fairly certain professional gamers are pretty much immune to stage-fright, especially Daigo who's had years of experience.

It's okay though, maybe we get to see Daigo eliminate Poongko next year from Evo and we can all shut up.

  • @Dwakey Well daigo did say during his match agaisnt latif he was fairly nervous.

  • First to 10 in a lot of fighting game is retarded when tier list is so wide. A low tier character can outplay in a bo3, but when you get to such a long set, there is no way a lower tier can match up to Yun tier.

  • @MageKirby

diago beat him 22-8 after evo i think that is enough games
