I moved to WV from Maryland when I was 5 years old. I left WV to live in California at the age of 23. I miss WV because the state is beautiful and it provokes many memories of my family and friends that still live there. I would never want to live there again for many reasons and I will tell you all of those reasons, some of them, I am sure you will think to be really silly, odd, or strange, some reasons you might even oppose and here they are, those reasons.......................­........

Soy i know what your talkin about... i moved from west virginia to florida. I miss the beauty of WV and the friends i made.. but Ill never live there again. But I'd like to vacation there sometime in the future. WV is a state that will swallow you because of the little amount of money you get paid. WV is a state that doesnt let you get far and experience new things. You kind of get used to the poor boring life.

Yes, it is difficult to move ahead in a state like WV....unless you exploit the positives and do something like manufacture in WV and promote to the more expensive higher cost of living states via the internet and a traveling sales force. Look at what China has done. Its used its lower cost of living and cheap labor force to out manufacture everybody else. Maybe the folks running WV need to go to business school.IMHO.

WV is not progressive, I don't like the culture, I am an aethiest, I am mainly attracted to asian and latina women, there are almost 0 asian and latina women in WV, WV reminds me of some of the 3rd world countries I visited, its extremely poor, not enough jobs, WV is backwards, there is no diversity, there isn't a music scene, no entertainment industry, there are no real clothing stores that sale real fashion, no cutting edge fashion, I don't find the night life very thrilling there

WV DEP is aware of several dumping issues, and they are NOT Coal Mine related. State officials provides written permits for same.

I've been in the Army for almost 7 years and have been to 10 different countries and about 40 or so different states during that time and my home state West Virginia is by far the most beautiful and serene out of all. Truly fortunate to grow up there.
