  • We elected these idiots.

    Way to go, us.

  • Colbert! I was crying the entire time from laughing so hard. This man is sheer comedic brilliance. Love it.

  • I'm in tears. Stephen Colbert is a genius.

  • XD

  • @129 you said you joined a FRATERNITY to meet girls.. I hate to break it to you but there are NO girls in a Fraternity,, Whoever that was on a dress was a dude,,, HAHAHAHA

  • I miss Colbert on the Daily Show. I like him better in that role better than the host of his show. Still funny on the Report but like him better here.

  • I want to send this video to the girl who loves cats... :P Is that wrong?

  • Hahaha !! Kitty win! Wow that was ironic

  • I still remember watching the one where Wexler said, "I use cocaine because it's a fun thing to do." I couldn't believe that he actually said it, and what was even funnier was when he tried the joke again with prostitutes. The sad thing is that someone didn't realize it was a joke in 2008 and tried to use it against him, and some outlets, including "Today," ran with the story as if it wasn't a joke.

  • "Just say you're a Democrate"... LOL.

  • @areku81

Actually, that was a Democrat and Stephen was trying to get him to say he's a Republican.

  • write-in Stephen Colbert to get him on all 50 state ballots for President 2012

  • Colbert is the funniest!

  • funny stuff. That poor woman with the evil cat. Just put THAT cat in a wood chipper. No one will miss it. I promise :)

  • Stephen Colbert is just the most perfect human being...

  • Yarmuth was awesome

  • This asshole is a CATHOLIC LAY PREACHER in NJ somewhere.

What does a Catholic preacher "lay" these days, hmmm?

  • Colberts opening statement before Congress

    on Immigration... HILARIOUS! Must See

    /watch?v=WVQz-M35UBU

  • Colberts opening statement before Congress

    on Immigration... HILARIOUS! Must See

    /watch?v=WVQz-M35UBU

  • Cobert is a nut case. (just like me) I love his humor.

  • Very funny!

  • im laughingg so hard.

  • The best part: "You said you joined a fraternity to meet girls..... There are no girls in fraternities, for the record congressman. Whoever that was in the dress, I hate to be the one to break it to you here, on television, that was a dude."

  • This is some of the best sound bites from Stephen.

  • Kittens in a wood chipper...

    That's just wrong!

    LMAO!

  • he fucking owns their ass lolololollololol

  • ...Is this part of the gay agenda? xD

  • sometimes you have to dispose of your used kittens

  • that last clip with the cat got me in stitches

  • colbert spent way too much time second fiddle to john stewart - its great they figured out he is the better politico funny guy...

  • @glorp896 I think it's hard to say which is better. Their style is completely different.

  • @QueenSoap

of course with any art its subjective... you could quantify it objectively... some laugh meter, funniness per word uttered?...

john is more the overall interviewer type, while colbert has his narrower character he has been so successful with... i like them both, but i knew for a long time that colbert should be doing his own thing before he got his own show, the comedy central people, or whoever figured this out... colbert stood out as constantly more funny compared to stewart, imo

  • @glorp896 Personally I usually prefer Stewert. I like his more subtle approach (although, I know he sometimes goes out there). Colbert is sometimes too over the top for me, but when he's funny, he's funny and the guy has me on the floor. But lke you said it's all subjective, especially when it comes to comedy.

  • @QueenSoap hes over the top cause thats the character they've created for him... I think there is only like 1 interview with colbert out of character. Its amusing..

  • How many conservatives actually think that Colbert is a Republican?

  • @frankystein12 mmm all?

  • he and Stewart are the court jesters for the whole country. maybe the whole world!

  • co fuckin caine

  • If I were that guy I would have said "Awesome" that's one word to describe my district.

  • I can't decide which is funnier....Wexler saying he enjoys cocaine or Yarmuth making the case for throwing kittens in a wood chipper.

  • @olivemike81 Definitely Yarmuth making the case for throwing kittens in a wood chipper.

  • kudos to yarmuth for actually being able to take a joke

  • colbert is a satire master!

he uses satire in the funniest way anyone possibly could!

    GO COLBERT!

  • ROFLMAO! Colbert is f***king hilarious!

  • omg i ceralisly lmao so hard

  • LMAO "throwing kittens in a woodchipper"

    epic.

  • I'm pretty sure that Stephen Colbert has left the rest of the human race behind with his infinite wisdom and Colbertism (means "greatness"). (Colbert is a synonym for great)

  • You have NO idea how hard I laughed at your comment. XD

I TOTALLY agree! Stephen is amazing. :P

  • "i love cocain because" hahahahahahahhaa

  • WOW

    i loved it

  • That last guy actually made a convincing case for putting kittens in a wood chipper

  • I adore this man.

  • Stephen is EPIC

  • WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT THIS GUY ?

  • LOL @ 1:30

  • 'is this part of the gay agenda'!!!! omfg lol

  • I love him and Jon<3

  • wow when you laugh at a good youtube video you know its good.. 1:20 Come on

  • Colbert Again! Wow... This is the funniest compilation of Colbert clips (and general showmanship) I have EVER seen in my life... I cried almsot the entire time from laughing so hard. These 'interviews' he does are so funny, I cannot think of anything to compare. Fantastic, as always.

  • 3:20 ouch

  • What a sport! Sometimes the only thing handy is a woodchipper!

  • The kitten in a woodchipper guy seemed like he had a good sense of humour, lol

  • so you can be damned sure he's not a republican.

  • they need about 100 of these better know a district segments on youtube.

  • i love the petaphile part...

  • pedophile.

  • paedophile.

  • You misspelled pedophile. But I'm not bitter. Now what are we talking about?

  • US English... isn't that just an excuse for casual illiteracy? Lol, amazing how many words Americans manage to misspell. Not to mention the date format; it's DD/MM/YYYY did you know that? Either way Colbert is a funny guy.

  • So they don't misspell pedophile in the U.K.? Ok. I don't know about bad spelling. I'm a good speller. And I was born on 12/19/1980. How about you? But, I'm glad we both know that. Now, stop fondling oranges..Cantyougetarealperson? But, Colbert's very funny anyway.

  • I wonder, did your nations inability to spell come about spontaneously, or was it more of a coordinated effort? Lol

  • I know a lot of good spellers, and some bad.

  • I agree, why do americans change words in the ENGLISH language? :S

over here we spell it : paedophile which would be the correct way to spell it.

  • Ever since that spat known as the Revolutionary war, we've changed some words and pronunciations. Like colour, favourite, or amin. And paedophile doesn't really even look like the word..schedule?

  • schedule looks correct what other way do they spell it? And why, why did they change it?

It anoys me when i have to do html with words like centre and colour Lmao :D

  • Schedule and vitamin are spellled the same, but the pronunciation is different. Oh yeah, centre too. There's more..

  • how do you pronounce it in the US?

and it wouldnt pronunciation differ because of different dialects in the uk? :/

    Theres lots more lol =D

    metre.

  • Or theatre/theater. We say sced-u-al or vYtamin, we emphasize the I here..I could google and find more, but don't wanna, But I notice that americanized thing you use..or invented here at least.

  • Americanized thing? What am i using that is americanized? and why is it bad lol Just because im from the uk doesn't mean i dislike the US [at least as a people i dont]

  • Not americanized, but invented by us. But lol? We came up with that one...

  • your americanizing internet lingo that can be used by everyone, Laugh out loud? is in english.

Its like saying you people came up with obesity.

  • Can be used by everyone, but it was here first..and I don't know who came up with obesity.

  • how was it there first? Give me proof. Its in english, so it could have been created by anyone,

But then again maybe it was made by you lot, too lazy to actually type it down, too busy eating.

I kid though, im not THAT close minded. What point are you making? lol, I'm from england, but i dont have any english blood, so if you want to make that point make it to a person of uk blood lol.

  • That's weird what you said. But we invented the internet, I never use acronyms, but you're not even from England, or you are, but your parents weren't. Either way, the customs and all are the same.

  • You dont anything about me LOL

I am a british citizen, I am from england.

    My parents are from england.

Over here most of the south asains and carribeans came here after the war, I am irish, carribean, and indian. Anyway, WHAT IS YOUR POINT lol, i still dont see what your point is. americans sometimes...

  • p.s ENGLISH mathematician Charles Babbage (17921871) designed a mechanical computing machine called the "analytical engine." It is considered the forerunner of the digital computer, a programmable electronic device that stores, retrieves, and processes data.

  • But Americans came up with that acronym.. like omg, or whatever. And that all I know. But you learn something new every day.

  • Again, WHAT POINT ARE YOU MAKING! lmao

americans didnt come up with the word 'whatever' lol anyway, Your not making a point lol,

I know it must be hard to understand, But just because you might believe america is the best place ever, doesn't mean the rest of the western world has become americanized.

End the convo now, this is ridiculous without any real point.

  • lol and plus it seems you guys dont know the dif. between ethnicity and citizenship/by birth haha [dont tell me americans invented laughing..]

    ^_^

  • Not me. And probably not.

  • Hilarious! The man is insane! lol

  • That last one is hilarious.

  • that's my congressman! yoo hoo!

  • and pedophiles just roam free....

  • The last part with the kittens was the best. Sometimes there just isn't another option, and a woodchipper will have to do!

  • funniest thing i have ever seen in my lifecomedy central should hire this motherfucker

  • ... its parts of his show called the colbert report which is hosted on the comedy central...

  • Stephen Colbert? They already have.

  • I believe that was part of the joke....

  • the congressman is the one who said it was 2 words actually... so you still win but not against colbert

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • Finally a truly great comedian. OMG. Stephen Colbert is a genius.

  • Dude this made me laugh soo hard lol

  • Throwing Kittens in a woodchiper I think its wrong John tear me a new one LOL

  • I loooooooooooooooooooooove colbert!!!!!!!

    loooove jon stuart too

    theyre freaken awesome

  • LOL!!!

  • i love those who played along

  • How does he get them to answer?

  • he uses his genius

  • OMG. I "lol'd" and felt sad for those kittens.

  • "Well you know, there are times when you just have to find a way to dispose of kittens" LMAO!

  • nothing make sme laugh more than people who dont understand that colbert is a satirical comedian... he pretends to be a creationist republican to point out how funny they are... hes supposed to be emulating bill oriley

  • I love the ignorant people: "Stephen Colbert is a Republican." LOL

  • what do you consider his most republican stance?

  • I meant that the people who say that are ignorant! I was agreeing with you, dummy!

  • haha well the jokes on me.

  • killing and stuffing elephants for promotional purposes.

  • holy shit he actually found a reasonable excuse to throw a kitten in a wood chipper....

  • yea, don't you hate when you need to get rid of some kittens and you just don't have a shovel or axe? But you have a woodchipper, so wat else can ya do?

  • "and let the pedophiles just roam free." i love it.

  • Kittens in a woodchipper, thats horrible. Cats i can understand... especially that Becky.

  • Hahaha, I got tears of laughter! Been watching various Stephen Colbert-videos for 40mins now :D! Always hits me

  • 2:47 HAHAHA That's the best part.

  • He's just awsome!

  • And let the petiphiles roam free LOL XD

  • Get a life and stop commenting on videos you're clearly disinterested in.

  • Nay! Get a life and stop defending those hacks whose teats you dwell among!

  • Shhhh. Stop getting worked up and lose the exclamation points.

  • All kosher here. You seemed to be the one upset that someone dare comment on your hero. 2009 should offer lots of fun observation of this pair.

  • Nah, just a little irked by the fact that you decided to generalize the youth of today as naive, inexperience and liberal, because I am none of the above. And I'm more for Conan O'Brien than I am for Colbert any day, although I do find the guy pretty entertaining. And your last statement doesn't make sense to me; do go on.

  • 2009 will feature Stewart and Colbert's (and the naive youth of America's) messiah as Commander in Chief. Seeing Stew-bert dance around obvious errors from the Obama administration will be funnier than their so-called normal humor!

  • Oh, alright. Now I see where you're coming from. That is something to look forward to. So if you're not included in the "naive youth of America," yet you seem to watch Stewart and Colbert, what do you categorize yourself as?

  • Experienced, practical, cynical adult. Would be hypocritical not to watch and yet comment on what I dislike about the duo.

  • So you can say that I'm inexperienced, naive, and liberal, judging all of this by how I'm apart of the "youth" and because I watched a youtube video on Colbert. How do you get that?

  • About YOU in particular, I've said nothing. However, assuming general statements such as mine to be direct attacks on you IS a sign of ..youthfulness. Of the generally young voter base, I most certainly do make an accurate claim of their naivete, inexperience, and predaliction to make decisions armed with only one side of any given story...usually told by pundits posing as comedians.

  • Well I could only assume that you meant ALL youth, and not just voters because I am not of voter age. So perhaps you should've rephrased? Or not posted something that could be taken as I did? Not to say I took it seriously. Just for arguments sake. :) But I do agree with everything you said after "youthfulness."

  • I can watch this over, and over, and over again/

  • Oh my god! He's such a king at improvising you'd think this is scripted! But it's just him in his ingenious state of mind!

  • Kittens in a Wood chipper lmao

  • CHOCOLATE THUNDER!!! XDD

  • I like that he is political :)

  • LOL woodchipper

  • i love how obvious he sticks it to o'reilly.

    stephen colbert is my hero!

  • Well sometimes you have to find a way to dispose of kittens.

  • John Yarmoth made me laugh so hard I cried.

  • if seinfeld is a genius, then what does that make Colbert? the man is pure comedic brilliance.

  • Ditto!

  • zeitgeist is awsome

  • What a lady needs what a lady needs... is johnson lmao

  • Stephen Colbert is a O.G Original Gangster he is far more superior than jon stewart

  • I disagree. I think he's just as funny as Stewart, but in a different way.

  • LOL very funny! And the last clip made my day!!! A "fox" lost to a cat! XD

  • "And let the paedophiles just roam free..."

  • I'm glad I got this wood-chipper handy because of all these damn cats!

  • Thank You for taking care of those kittens

  • His writers are brilliant but it helps to be that sharp

  • hahaha colbert is awesome

  • These types of interviews he does are so worth watching over because they are so brilliant in content and timing - one of my favorites is with the guy from the Sierra Club and the stuffed polar bear!!

  • so nice i had to watch it thrice

  • The man and his writing team are brilliant!

  • this guy is hillarious

  • Colbert is the smartest political humorist of our time.

  • Mr. Colbert,

    Are you married?

  • Yes. He is.

  • Hi brainsfallinout26,

I learned that after I posted my comment, but thanks for reminding me.

  • umm....what?

  • We're not saying he's not those things (intelligent, brilliant, funny as hell) but as red-blooded human beings, we're allowed to squee over someone's hotness in good fun. don't be such a party pooper!

  • it must have been hard to find something to top Colbert's skit, but that cat attacking in the end was to funny to handle.

  • "I think we should concentrate on the issues in this election..."

"And let the paedophiles just roam free?"

    Brilliant.

  • LOL 2:10 :D

  • This shows how good colbert is, I can't watchthis without cracking into laughter, believe me; try wtching the whole video without at least smiling, and colbert is actually there!

  • hahahahaha

    everytime he eats them alive

  • shit i'm in phil hare's district
