At my Workplace by the River Styx, the Higher Ups that Be hire about 20 people a day. If you talk during a meeting, security taps you on the shoulder and escorts you out of the building. Consider yourself fired. It's a very effective motivational tool.

Oh don't even get me started on business meetings! I won't even start going on my rants about them. It sounds like your management are as much of a bunch of contradicting dumbasses as mine are. It seems like they don't care if you hear them over the fucking chatter of those other assholes around you. So what if you can't hear what's going on at the meetings. Your managers need to learn a thing or two about the culture of the work place, and the way it should be. Letting things slip like that just turns in to a big snow ball.

But that kind of thing is not tolerated in our meetings. But then, we don't really have anybody that would do that kind of thing to begin with.

But if it did happen (repeatedly), I think I would end up saying something to them myself if the managers didn't do anything.
