  • long live the arian people, persians and germans united as one forever <3

  • @farshad94abedi ugh you stupid piece of scum

  • @farshad94abedi Nothing against persians or anything, I'm grateful for the enormous contributions that persian culture and discoveries brought to our society, but being german now is not about being ''arian'' anymore, being german now is about being loyal to the german fatherland, no mattering your race or origin.

  • Great Germany

  • Sorry, chum, unlike yourself, I lived through the war. I had family in Germany (I'm one-quarter German myself) and these relations of mine ALL wsorshipped The Fuehrer. There was good reason for this at the time which you would understand were you in possession of the historical background of the time.

  • MY HOMELAND FOREVER

  • Go Germany, Go!!!!!

  • ich liebe deutscher schloss

  • (Gott erhalte, Gott beschütze) !!!!

  • híhí_pãsst_hïér_ñét_reïn_ãbá_ich_bïn_só_èiñsãm_wïll_jëmând_mït_míâ_schrêíben

  • The land of the language of the common people (Deutcheland) has much to be proud of. Many a past many a nation has shame about. The USA with it's treatment of Indians, American Japanese, etc., the list goes on.

But to move on and work for a better world for your children cherishing the land where God has planted you. Now that is a challenge and a great HONOR!

Do it well German Volk, do it well!

  • blühe deutsches vaterland!

  • can i ask you Germans a question. why are all of the German gold reserves in a New York bank and not in Germany?

  • @HaiLsKuNkY ehm....good question...

  • @HaiLsKuNkY

Haven't you heard the news, yet? The Germans have just bought your New York Stock Exchange. They're one of your few most important trading partners, so why shouldn't they put their gold there.

The Deutsche Börse and Wall Street have merged, 60% owned by the Germans.

  • @Lintflas I'm British was just asking, no offence...

  • @HaiLsKuNkY

No offence taken ... but an interesting question anyway.

What if things get worse and Americans confiscate our gold? I don't think this will happen. If they fuck with Germany, they automatically fuck with Europe as well because a robbed Germany would mean a bankrupt EU.

  • @HaiLsKuNkY ok i looked it up for you :P the reserves were created in the 50's and 60's in New York, London and Paris to pay off for the German exports. They simply stayed were they were created, and the Bundesbank never cared to pay for the transportation and storage. its obviously more an economical then a political problem, but people tend to conspiracies these days...

  • hitler fought for the bavarian army, not for austrian

  • it still brings tears to my eyes that a country like germany is allowed to steal TWO anthems from other countries (first the british, then the austrian) without having to pay for it....now austria has to live with a very boring anthem just because of germany and hitler (and NO hitler was not austrian, he was german born in austria-hungary and volunteered for the german army in world war 1 because he didnt want to fight for multi-cultural austria-hungary....so he obviously was not austrian)

  • @holesandt1 Andauernd das Gleiche

  • @holesandt1 Hitler wasn't Austrian because he was born in Austria-Hungary? The country at the time of his birth was called "Austria-Hungary". Even if you were born in Wein, you were still born in "Austria-Hungary". Hitler was born in Braunau am Inn, on the Inn River in upper Austria, near the Bavarian border. Pretty damn Austrian.

  • @holesandt1 The melody for the American "Star Spangled Banner" came from the ENGLISH 18th century drinking song, "To Anancreon in Heaven". My mother is Dutch, and the melody for the Dutch anthem "Het Wilhelmus", originated in the late 16th century as a FRENCH soldier's marching song. Clearly, people BORROW, yet you call it "stealing". Austrians aren't German, but they are Germanic. An exchange of music, art, literature, and a sense of shared culture has long existed between Austria and Germany.

  • @holesandt1 first... to call the austrian anthem BORING (!!) should be beaten out of you, for saying this shit. We are proud of our anthem - VERY (!) - with every single word cuz every single word has a meaning. and second ... Hitler (who was born in Braunau, upper austria !!) fought in the WW I for Austria and got fired because he made troubles and had problems that army didnt fight with the accurate amount of aggression (his words) against the enemy.

btw: no country can steal anthems

  • screw the history and the politics this is a great orchestral score , nearly as good as The Irish National Anthem (Amhrán na bhFiann ) .......

  • Germans are still not very popular here in Denmark, since they've almost lead to the destruction of our nation several times. Even after WWII, when BRD was an ally and friend of Denmark, Danes would treat Germans very poorly. My grandfather even threw several German turists away from a public beach, which formerly was his.

I, on the other hand, love and admire Germany for their strength, iron will and innovation.

Germany, you're the engine of the European Union.

  • Someone needs to make a video with this theme in the background with Nazi era pictures.

  • WArum bin ich nicht als Deutscher geboren? :(

    ich will sooooo dazu gehören..

  • Viva Alemania!!!!!

  • #

mischnix those parts i am reffering to are german speaking.Switzerland is also german speaking but also a different country..

  • 1.France give back Elsass,2.Belgium give back Eupen-Malmedy,3.Luxemburg should unite with Germany,4.Czech give back Sudetenland,5.Poland give back Pommern,Schlesien and East Prussia,6.Lithuania give back Memel,7.Italy give back Sued Tyrol..All these are and used to be german speaking areas..

  • @bUfOs89

German speaking does not mean German. Switzerland never wanted to be part of Germany, although much of their country is German speaking.

  • I love hearing this wonderful song. Germany believes Adolph Hitler will be its one true leader for eternity. When the swastika blows in the wind, I understand how much the people of Germany love their Nazi principles. Deutschland Uber Alles. Heil Hitler! Seig Heil.

  • @steventhestudent

  • @KlahreBruehe117

Sieg....Heil. The only thing Germany should be ashamed of is East Germany and how your veterans have been treated that served on the front lines for your country. My fiancee's Great Uncle gave his life on the frontlines for the Waffen SS in 1943 and here you are shitting on your veterans. Typical far left nut. Heil....Mein....Fuhrer.

  • @HokiesAndDawgs

okay, youre reducing german history to 12 years. germany has a lot more to show than hitler and nazi germany. my grand father fought in the normandie. d-day. im not shitting on the veterans. i feel sorry for them cause they had no choice. and in case you dont know: genocide is no good thing. and hitler was a psychotic, gruesome murderer.

  • @HokiesAndDawgs

okay youre reducing german history on 12 years. germany has a lot more to show than hitler and nazi germany. my grandfather fought in the normandie.D-day, you know? im not shitting on the veterans. i feel sorry about them cause they had no choice. hilter was a psychotic, gruesome murderer. and genocide is not a good thing. but i understand your opinion, americans like to trivialize.

  • @steventhestudent

Honestly, you got it wrong. About 90% of German people don't like Adolph Hitler or the Third Reich or hate it, about 5 % have no opinion about it, and about 5 % think it was acceptable or great. Most Germans feel ashamed of the swastika and stuff.

    Greetings from Germany

  • @mischnix Ich danke dir.

  • This version is really powerful, i prefer this style

    50.000 STARS

  • this is a wonderful song but does anyone have a version of it that is done with a German mens choir like Russian Red Army Choir did Song of the Volga Boatmen

  • Deutschland is cool (from Algeria)

  • Comment removed

  • Bitte?

  • One of the most impressive and enjoyable orchestrations I have heard. It would be so nice to have it finish with a full choir singing!

  • Best version because I can hear it 3 times for one play!

  • Römland den Römern!

  • Germany is one of those nations that could step over their past and can look into the future (and that's what other nations should learn from them, amongst others).

it is still interesting to see though, how some insignificant people come here to throw up their frustration...

Germans, don't give a sh** on them. only jealousy and hatred speaks from them (and there will always be such people). be proud of your country and your culture.

ich wünsche euch einen schönen Tag.

  • @kyogirl108 Germany should feel proud of its love of Adolph Hitler and the Nazi movement. There should only be joy in their hearts when shout "Seig heil." I give them all the Nazi salute.

  • @steventhestudent

Thanks for your kind words for Germany, but Adolph Hitler caused awful crimes against people and he also had no clues of economy. Worst kind of leader you could imagine.

  • @steventhestudent Just take visit to germany and try to say "Sieg Heil" The germans will beat you, because they hate nazis pricks from the bottom of their hearts.

  • @Lintflas

I was there 3 weeks ago and did exactly that, I got a couple stares from people and one laughed and came up and shook my hand!

  • @SuperSayjinElite

Of course the german laughed and shoke your hand for shouting "Sieg Heil" because he thought to himself:

"What poor guy, shouting Sieg Heil here in Germany. Maybe he needs a little care and attention until the police arrives" ;-)

  • @Lintflas

Exactly. Because Germany has become so far left that talking about anything to the right of Marx would be "terrible." My girlfriend's Great Uncle gave his life on the battlefield for the Waffen SS in 1943. Your government absolutely shit on your WWII veterans after the war and it took a court ruling to get pensions provided for them.

Need a Hitler in Germany to eradicate the Muslim invasion in your country as well.

Heil Mein Fuhrer - creator of the VW and The Autobahn.

  • @Lintflas

Hitler pulled your country out of The Great Depression FASTER than any nation in the world. Germany has became a far left political shithole just like all of Europe. A bunch of pansies just like the rest of them. So funny since Hitler helped create two of Germany's most notable accomplishments in industry...the VW and Autobahn. Meanwhile, a statue of Karl Marx is still standing in Berlin. Communism....responsible for millions of more murders than the Nazis.

    Sieg fucking Heil

  • @HokiesAndDawgs

Thanks, but the Germans don't need a Hitler to be strong. We are still the most progressive Nation on earth.

Remember, we had to build up our completely destroyed country after war; we had to build up east Germany after the reunification and through all this, we still have become the No1 economic powerhouse of europe, No. 3 in the world, the worlds export champion for decades, and the founder /leader of the EU.

  • @Lintflas

And yet if there was a war between the USA and Germany you would be wiped out. In the 1930s, Germany was AHEAD of us and it's amazing to think that when your country was crippled after WWI. Nazi Germany one on one would have beat us, UK, or Russia.

  • @HokiesAndDawgs

Hitler only pulled out our nation, because jewish bankers (Schroeder, Warburg) gave him the money to build up the most dangerous army out of nothing, though they knew his agenda against Jews. The holocaust was a pretext to found the state of Israel. Guess some jewish elites admire Hitler for this.

Anyway, history books are always written by the victors, and that's why Hitler has to be the baddy, and everyone denies the fact that Stalin was the biggest mass murderer in history.

  • @Lintflas

Well, we actually agree there. That's why I'm a Hitler sympathizer...not a Nazi but a "sympathizer" with 1930s National Socialism (not the present). We're fed propaganda in America that Hitler is the most evil man in world history. Stalin and Mao are responsible for 25+ million more murders than Hitler in just the past 50 years. The Holodomor killed more than The Holocaust. The victor tells the story but Hitler is not even close to Stalin/Mao on that "scale" of evil.

  • @HokiesAndDawgs

Yep, and sometimes it's hard for Germans to face all that hypocritial post war propaganda. No one talks about the true reasons for WW2. The versailles treaty was nothing but a resounding slap for Germany, and the conspiring foreign policies of Britain, France and Poland against Germany worked like a diplomatic declaration of war, and no one talks about the fact, that Hitler NEVER wanted to fight Britain or the USA. Germany found itself surrounded by enemies since WW1.

  • @Lintflas

World would be a better place had us, Germany, and Britain destroyed the USSR. No North Korea/Kim Jong Il/Kim Il Sung, no Che, no Fidel Castro in Cuba, no Mao in China, shall I continue?

More lives would have been saved had we been allies with Germany. LOL....USA, Britain, and German in the 1930s = greatest....alliance....ever.

  • @HokiesAndDawgs

Post war history has made Germany the scapegoat for both world wars, and even Germans believe it, because they were brainwashed like everyone else. I guess it takes another 50 years to take a more objective view at history.

  • @Lintflas

Your country is still brainwashed in many ways. Glad we agree on this. Icons from Germany's past like the swastika (which has more than just a Nazi meaning, it's Hindu), SS lightning bolt logo, and others should not be banned like they are. That is absurd. I hate that the Nazi party rally grounds in Nuremburg have been pretty much destroyed. What the hell did they build on it? A race track? The pillars are still standing but not much else. Absolute disgrace..amazing architecture.

  • @HokiesAndDawgs who do you think you are to talk about germany like that?? no one likes your shit country anyway so gtfo

  • @garrysmodguy12

Germany is a great country, unlike the UK. Your reading comprehension sucks.

  • @HokiesAndDawgs Well it's a shame that you have posted so many comments on this video that you dont know wich one i'm talking about. So think again Smartass

  • @garrysmodguy12

I wasn't talking bad about Germany, idiot.

  • @Lintflas actually sieg heil means hail victory used in early prussia as well. germany has turned against their own nations history

  • @GuyPennebaker

So you really think that Germany, as the heir of the Roman empire, has turned against her history just because the Germans don't say "sieg heil" anymore? That is nonsense.

  • @Lintflas just look at them today they wont accept that they had hitler in power durring their time while russia accepts josef stalin a much more evil man than hitler. they are just not as proud as they were durring the holy roman empire the prussian empire ww1 and ww2

  • @GuyPennebaker

Stalins atrocities are not the Gemans business, and you won't find a single German who ignores the fact they had Hitler in power. btw, the Russians never faced their past and didn't take the blame for what happened in WW2, because it was all blamed on the Germans. That is why they didn't have to face Stalins atrocities, and that is why some Russians still consider Stalin a hero.

"Sieg Heil" fits with an empire or kingdom but it doesn't fit with a modern democracy.

  • @Lintflas "hail victory"? sure sounds like it would fit and there are many russians who would hold high josef stalin

  • @GuyPennebaker

Russians who hold high Josef Stalin are just obstinate fuckturds, and Germans won't say "hail victoria" as long as the holy Roman empire of the German nation is not resurrected a 4th time.

For about 1200 years Germans strived to unite Europe, but today we just want to live in peace with our neighbours, simple as that.

  • @Lintflas the british and the french wont allow that not when theres the slightest bit of patriotism that would be considered "nazi" thats bad. im fully ashamed of my german side of my family like im not german i dont give a shit who says what igermany has gone bad so far that im just completely ashamed of it

  • @GuyPennebaker

I don't want to destroy your illusions, but the French and British have NO say and NO influence on Germanys decisions, and actually you talk a lot of nonsense.

  • @Lintflas yes they do germany has become such a pussified country that chile looks more like a germany

  • @GuyPennebaker

Of course they don't, and obviously you're just a stupid troll who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

  • @Lintflas yes because i live under a bride :P

  • @GuyPennebaker No, we have not turned against our Nation's history. Educated Germans, however, recognise that patriotism leads to hatred. The atrocities committed by our ancestors continue to haunt the modern German's conscience. The unspeakable sadness and pain we have inflicted. It is our modern desire to run our country on the principles of, above all else, peace, unity, the rule of law and freedom. Racism, xenophobia, homophobia, sexism, islamophobia et cetera are the enemies of Germany.

  • @DerHimmelIstRot there is racism sexism islamism homophobia xenophobia everywhere germany is now considered a coward country its now the modern day weak minded germans who are hanted have you ever thought for one second what germany would be like if hitler didnt come to power? it would be gone there would be no germany the history erased only to be told in history books as the "evil people" they were just like in ww1 your considered evil because of that even though germany sided with its allies

  • @DerHimmelIstRot kaiser Wilhelm ,Fredrick the great and Erwin Rommel the last knight of germany must be rolling in their graves to see how our "once" proud nation has fallen into coward-es and stupidity

  • @GuyPennebaker You say "our", yet I see you're from South Africa... Care to explain that? You clearly know nothing about German history. Germany is a modern, republican, democratic county. Our country is amongst the best educated in the world. We are not cowards, we simply are not stupid enough to believe that every problem can be resolved by the shooting of weapons...

  • @DerHimmelIstRot even though im part german star tard and south africa could have been a 11st world country it was until we had our so called "rainbow government" when everything went down not to be racist but the apartheid government was making it go up

  • @Lintflas Funny, I thought they were the ones who thought it all up!!

  • @buteshire

Well, that's just how post war propaganda has brainwashed you. The, by far, greatest enemies of Hitler and Naziism and are the Germans themselves.

Welcome to reality, the year 2011 and, if you'll ever attempt to visit the fatherland, welcome to the TRUE Germany.

  • @kyogirl108 I totally agree !

  • @kyogirl108 yes nazis are basdarts! Ican't understand why they re hating other cultures! I think other cultures can be exiting!

nice greatings from Reken, northrinewestfalica, Germany

  • @kyogirl108 yes nazis are basdarts! Ican't understand why they re hating other cultures! I think other cultures can be exiting!

nice greatings from Reken, northrine-westfalica, Germany

  • @firemann113 well the nazis thought they are master races and the ohter cultures are slaves

  • @kyogirl108 Hell yeah!!!

    That'Z what I'm talking about!!!

    THUMBS UP!

  • @kyogirl108

that's what's called "Auferstanden aus Ruinen", Risen from Ruins.

  • @kyogirl108 I agree so much I could cry! I was in Berlin a few years ago, and was so impressed with the dignity and humility that was apparent everywhere. I was struck by a country that neither glossed over, nor denied its past, but acknowledged what had happened, and moved on. If the UK and USA could share this attitude, the world would move forewards a great deal more rapidly than it does now.

  • Germans watch this on you tube :

    Sabaton 40-1 Deutsche Untertitel

Reich genannt...

    1. Reich=heiliges römisches Reich deutscher Nation 800 bis 1806

    2. Deutsches Reich 1870/71 bis 1918

  • @Assuranipal und ich warte sehnsüchtig aufs 3... -.-

  • Very nice....5/5 A great country and a great people ....

  • @hitlerpoltz

Yes it´s really a beautiful anthem but shut your face nobody neets your racist comments!!!

  • Keep you Nazi-bullshit to yourself, moron.

  • from whom?

  • Austria - Hungary empire

  • the "deutschlandlied" isnt related to fashism in any way. its just about ther german history that many small states became one. the nazis misused it, but its still no reason not to be proud of our history, exept for 1914-1918 and 1933-1945

  • 1) the Deutschlandlied was NOT the national anthem of the 3. Reich. Only the first strophe was sung together with the Horst Wessel song.

2)Our German Constitution (Grundgesetz) does not specify any national anthem. But it is right that just the 3. strophe is sung.

3)The first strophe is not forbidden it is just not official. That's because the first and second strophe reflect German identity of the 19th century and has originally nothing to do with fachism.

    4) no comment.

  • @theborndutchman:

Unfortunately one has to correct your statements:

  • Ausgezeichnet!

  • @19Mandy97

    SCHEIß auf sie!

  • liebe mein land! love my country!

  • 3.) not corect. The first strope is not forbitten.

  • Horst Wiesel Lied was the national anthem of the third Reich

  • Who wrote this song?

  • >jonefre

    By Franz Joseph Haydn.

    I love this song.

    Do you like this song?

  • My father was born in Maria Alm, Austria, and raised in Munich. He fought for Germany in WW2. I was born in the U.S. and love my country, but the Deutschlandlied brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it, even as it did for my father. All the verses should be restored to use in Germany. "Uber alles" does not mean "over all". It means "before all, first in our hearts". Every national anthem should inspire people as this one does. God bless Germany.

  • @lichtbroeder In fact, "Über alles" has to be seen in the historic context. At the time when the lyrics were written, there was no German state, there were many small countries, and there was a strong movement for a unified German state, so what "Deutschland über alles" means is that the fact that a unified Germany is the most important thing of all. Personally, i don't think the first to stanzas should be used today, the first one is just not correct anymore, and the second one is inappropriate

  • @lichtbroeder good, because this anthem originally was the anthem for the austrian emperor of the holy roman empire, later the anthem of the austrian empire and the first austrian republic and THEN it became anthem of germany (they stole it from austria together with the austrian flag black-gold)...germany has no right to be proud of it since the austrian haydn composed it for the austrian emperor...germany just didnt manage to compose an anthem by themselves...

  • @holesandt1 Using your logic, only Austrians have a right to use and be moved by the carol, "Stille Nacht". I find you to be incredibly short sighted. Music speaks to the heart. It doesn't matter who wrote what or who loves it. Handel for example was German, but wrote much of his music in England. Big deal - it's still "German" at heart and in spirit. If Austrians live with a boring anthem, blame Austrians. It was they who got rid of their monarchy and this anthem.

  • @holesandt1 The black and gold flag was originally the Holy Roman Empire flag. It was ADOPTED by the Habsburgs (of SWISS origin!) and became an Austrian civil flag after 1804. As German lands were once part of the Holy Roman Empire, Germany had as much a right to use the colors black and gold in its flags as did Austria, and these colors WERE used in pre-1870 German kingdoms too, going back to the Middle Ages. Your arguments are ill founded.

  • @lichtbroeder

The holy roman empire never had any flag or any official color.

  • @schusterlehrling The Flag of the Holy Roman Empire was not a national flag, but an imperial banner. It consisted of black eagle on a golden background. After the late 13th century, the claws and beak of the eagle were red. From the early 15th century, a double-headed eagle was used.

In 1804, Emperor Francis II of the Habsburg dynasty took the colors of the banner of the Holy Roman Emperor, making the flag of the Austrian Empire black and gold. These colors continued to be used until 1918.

  • There are quite a few good national anthems out there I think.. The French one, the Swedish one etc..

But when it comes to sheer 'power' and sounding 'great', nothing beats the German. It's just awesome! I especially love it when football fans sing it in stadiums etc. It almost makes me wish I was German when I hear it. Haha

Greetings from your small neighbor to the north.. Denmark in case I lost any of you. :P

  • "Read your nations history books and you will find acts of evil parallel to former German atrocities. "

The problem is that you won't find a word about it in their history books. Only Germans erect monuments to the persecuted.

Others erect monuments to the perpetrators.

  • Dear american people,

I´m so happy to read positive comments of you. I think our countries are connected because of our history and of our culture, so we should`nt forget our responsibility for one another.

God bless America, God bless Germany!

  • do you realize how many ancestors of ethnic germans live in america? we are all over this country and have contributed mightily to its success. gott segnen deutschland!!!

  • Why do people, each time we're talking about germany, reproach them their past? I can't understand, nowadays deutschland is one of the most evolved countries of the world

  • and so is France! ;-) It's been so long, since our countries were enemies. Thank God that there are people like you, who know, that this time is over! :-D

  • Germany in present is not the germany from the past!!!

In this time the people loves the money but hates the fucking "Euro"!!!
