i have pigeons as pets, the first one being a homing pigeon that was badly injured. they actually are very clean little folks, the one feral pigeon that i rescued, had feather mites, but that was easily treatable. i guess i just don't understand what all the hatred for pigeons is about? they're extremely smart & affectionate, love to snuggle, take baths, even get blow dried. they're lovely to have in the house. i would never have discovered this if it weren't for helping the first boy out.

Pigeon populations are out of control it is because of such large numbers why diease within the pigeon population is such a problem. I shoot them but i can never kill enough of the filthy things.
