Poor Donatello!! He's my favorite turtle. He was the only one with a horror experience. It was very sad. Fortunately, Donatello didn't fall into a deep depression, anxiety, fear and the worse, madness. It seems that most of the people who are considered a genius ( or gifted) have these issues. Look into the lives of Vincent Van Gough (painter), Beethoven (pianist), Michelangelo Buonarroti (scupltor and painter - had mental issues, too).
@Margui622 When you live with a guy like Mikey, you can't be depress even if you want to. I think Mikey is a spirit of the team. His jokes are somewhat lame but that's what keeps the other from going depress or mad. I find it really scary when he lost his sense of humor in the world Donnie got thrown into...

@wolfbielefeld actually, donnie was talking to april about traveling to alternate dimensions not time traveling. there is a difference. donnie ended up in another dimension and u can actually see that dimension's raph, mikey, and leo in Turtles Forever when shredder is showing them all the turtles in all the dimensions. i think the superhero turtles mikey met are in there too.
Poor Donny. Back from that horrible future... =( Raph got to ride a bad ass motorcycle and had a great time. Mikey ended up in a superhero world and loved every second of it! Leo got to team up with Usagi again.
But Donny... I'm surprised that he's not traumatized after that experience! So cruel... ó.ò

A normal day of training for Leo, reading comics for Mickey, a simple Knowledge exchange between April and Donnie and a simple bike repair for Ralph. When all of a sudden an abomination of Drako and the Ultimate Ninja into some kind of very waked up thing make some sort of Time Distortion which sends every1 everywhere:
-Leo in Furry land
-Donnie in Post Apocalyptic New York
-Ralph in a galactic bike championship
-and Mickey having fun in the Fantastic 4 Turtles universe.
Sounds funny :D I wish to join Leo in this cute little Furry-World-Thingy :D Mh or maybe have some fun with Mikey o_O Or kick some shell with Don? :D Or.. take a ride with Raph? ...Let's see. I maybe just want to lay here on my own bed an relax xD

They were travelling to alternative realities depending on what they were doing at the beginning.
Mikey: reading comics, ends up in a Superhero world.
Raph: fixing his bike, gets sent to a race.
Donny: talks about April about time-travelling, ends up in an alternative future.
Leo: trains fighting techniques, goes to a traditional Japan-like world to fight.
I just wish they had given more time and episodes for this arc as a whole, especially for the Donny reality in SAINW.

So lets recapitulate:
A normal day of training for Leo, reading comics for Mickey, a simple Knowledge exchange between April and Donnie and a simple bike repair for Ralph. When all of a sudden an abomination of Drako and the Ultimate Ninja into some kind of very waked up thing make some sort of Time Distortion which sends every1 everywhere:
-Leo in Furry land
-Donnie in Post Apocalyptic New York
-Ralph in a galactic bike championship
-and Mickey having fun in the Fantastic 4 Turtles universe.

@Gebora I thought the Daimyo sounded like James Avery too (Shredder from the 80's series aka Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince).
