I have been a laker fan my whole life. I have always cheered for kobe. however this is possibly the saddest thing i have ever seen. first he can not getting along with shaq, we choose him over shaq and forgive him. then he cheats on his wife and ruins his image, we forgive him. now he hold all laker fans hostage in a selfish act to improve him legacy. kobe is a selfish, immature person. I hope whoever gets him next enjoys his talent....but try not to get too attached.

He's right! Kupchack has done nothing but run the Lakers to the ground since Jerry West left. He passed on a Dallas trade for Shaq that would have got them Nowitzki and Nash (Nash was a free-agent that offseason and it would have been a sign-and-trade). He trades Caron Butler, an all-star, for Kwame Brown. He screws up the Payton trade. His moves (or lack thereof) have been killing the Lakers and good for Kobe to vocalize what all fans already knew!

Dallas NEVER made an offer of Nowitzki and Nash. They offered some spares, the Lakers said Nowitzki and Nash were what it would take. They didn't pass on that, it was never offered.
