I have a 2004 mustang and that same pulley is making squealing noise and is loose like in video. is that the cause , if so is it easy to replace? I replaced belt already.
that outer screw is supposed to rest on the outer edge of the inner bearing race and in some cases there is a shim on the other side that causes this to happen 95-99 Eclipse/Talon with the 420a are famouse for this and nobody can ever figure it out cause the bearing is still good
just tighten mine on my jeep, annoying whining gone. Thank you

Hey, ON your pulley is that screw on top touching the pulley or is there some kind of bearing between the screw and the pulley.

theese are the most coomon cause of squealing . most people think its the belts, but it is actually theese if the belt isnt cracked or too tight
