This was way cool! I enjoyed watching it and more so because it's through your eyes as a foreigner. Thanks for giving our Island some "positive" feedback. I myself have never been back there since I was a baby. I envy you...
Bet you you were a little bit scared of the locals at first and then after a while finding how friendly they are towards visitors you felt like a KING!
the speed pump sign is a classic....just like the "congradulation on winning the silver metal" banner they had at the fuamotu airpot when Paea Wolfgramm won silver at Atlanta returned to Tonga...anyway, seems like u enojyed your time there...where did you stay?
They love their rugby! cricket is a second tier sport but has a very strong following in certain villages. The current competition in Tongatapu (the main island) has 16 senior teams. Then there are more in Vava'u and Eua.
It was a great year. I was there for a year working at the Tongan Cricket Association through an Australian Government volunteer program (similar to the American Peace Corps).
loved your video truely captured the true nature of tonga and its people.. miss it

It is a classic, particularly when it on the grounds of Feleti Sevelli's supermarket Molissi.
I loved my time there, I was there for 12 months doing volunteer work so a friend and I rented a house in Longolongo.
