@canaan1967 Oh please. Everything gives you cancer these days. Next thing you know starlight is going to give you cancer. Stop being overly cautious because of that bs. -.-
I love all your videos and recipes, thank you. I would be grateful if you could mention what one should do if we have chosen not to use or have a microwave in our home.
You can still make these peppers without a microwave. You should slit them, stuff them and cook them on a skillet with low to med/low heat. It will just take longer, but will taste great.

These two people seem so prim and proper and so stiff during the presentation. Loosen up a little. You do not need to sound sooo correct and all propped up. It is only... a How to Cook video.
tahnks you for ur reply gals..!! apprecite it.. and good to know the differance in taste ..so wen i make it..ill make it the same way taht u guys made it.. :) thanks once again..
hey hetal and anuja..thanks for the recepie!!im gonna try this...soon... !!! just have to search for the rt kinda chillies in the market!! :)
alos can we just grill it in the old grill oven instead of microwave.. then u might nt need to again toast it on that tava..n the stuffin also mite not spill out..wat say?
Microwaving is a quick way to cook the peppers so that when on the tava, they only need to be browned. You could grill them in the oven, but we feel that the flavor you would get by pan-frying them would not be there. We're sure it would be good, just different.
Hie Hetal...never tried this dish. i hav 2 questions. first. I am allergic to peanut butter...so i want to know what else can i get to add. second i rememver my neighbour made stuffed capsicum (shimla mirch). pls do let me know how to make it. I and all viewers will love to watch that new dish.
You can definitely BBQ peppers, but probably not this version because the stuffing is crumbly and will fall out while turning. Also, if you are grilling, it's best not to microwave beforehand or the peppers will not hold their shape on the grill.
Yes, definitely you can add gram flour (besan). It's just another variation. Be sure you add a little oil to the gram flour before stuffing it in the peppers.
Can u upload a video to make stuffed bell peppers in Indian style. Rice stuffing.

Looks like a great recipe! However, I don't have a microwave. How can I do this with only a stove and an oven? Thanks.
beckylynnkirby 3 years ago
Baking the peppers in an oven will work but will take a little longer. You may be able to brown them also in the oven without using the stove at all.
