Over the last 15yrs. or so this tune has had exposure on the UK/European northern Soul scene. I first heard it on my dads B&T's LP, "Dry Your Eyes", UK Action 1968ish,
... the 7" was also released on Action UK .... so somebody must have rated it at the time.

I remember this piece very well. I like Brenda's singing; but as a drummer, I thought the band did a heckuva job laying out the groove for Brenda.
And yes, the post sounds just like the what the 45rpm was supposed to sound.
