  • hmm! sometimes you can see how limited are some people's brain... I wish a could have one like these, to listen and practice recording techniques...

  • Why would anyone mess up a great piano by putting on a piece of crap like that? Either you can play or you make believe with one of these gadgets. Shameful!

  • Put it this way: what if you want to listen to a piece of music on a piano but

    1. Don't feel like playing.

    2. Don't want to hire someone to play.

    3. Don't want to listen to a recording on CD, LP, or tape.

    4. Don't want to listen to a rendition via General MIDI on a *synthesizer.*

    Then it's clear that the Disklavier has a particular advantage.

    And, the system does not affect the acoustic properties of the instrument.

    Plus, nobody's forcing you to get a Disklavier if you buy a Yamaha piano.
