Just throwing this out there cause i'm a forest firefighter, and got dispatched from Ontario to slave lake to fight that fire complex, and ended up on the AB 57 fire, currently at 85,000 hectars (850 square km). These fires were pretty intense.. and for those who don't know, almost every one of those fires were started because of 100 km/h winds which knocked over power lines, mix that with a low RH, and dry surface fuels, with dry spruce and good ladder fuels.... these fires burnt INTENSE.
