  • I used to see these guys at Hammerjacks. Them and Kix were awesome. Now I live in South Florida, but I will always remember Hammerjacks and all the fun I had there. I won several wet t-shirt and hot body contests there also! I was a dancer at BodyTalk, Memories, The Gold Club and Gales back in the 80's

  • Does anyone else here remember a big white dude named Bootsy that used to have HUGE parties at his house back in the woods by the raildroad tracks where the Reisterstown Subway Station is now? I remember listening to this in a haze at 14 at one of those parties.

  • Baltimore. Back in the fuckin' day.

  • I killed this album back in the 80's, front to back, back to front. Not a bad song to be found. It's a Baltimore, Hammerjacks thing!

  • Reminds me of my childhood in Baltimore. Like many others, I was shocked they didn't get "bigger"...

  • @AngelaBaldi They play this song on WZBA 100.7. Pretty mainstream, I think. Maybe they did make it "big" in some fashion.

They should have been so famous. But no.... Brittney Spears got famous instead. But who cares... we, the priveleged, got to soak it in !!!!

  • This song and album was essenially a new two man band for 1980. Ricky Witkowski produced the album and played Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums. John Palumbo, sang, Played Bass Guitar, plus Guitars, etc. They were going to call this "new" band "The Marines" but Lifesong their record company wouldn't put the album out unless it was a Crack The Sky release and the rest is history.
