  • I like to see knock for the Sri Lanka game where he survived while other batsmen melted in the pressure like pieces of butter. And the Indian fans, with due respect, did not let the game to finish ! I can remember... What a match!

  • Kambli is creating difrnt stories abt WC Semi finals. he said dat He ws made a scapegoat & ws dropped frm d side & his career ws spoiled. "All bullshit". infact He did play 35 Matches after 1996 WC & perfomed worst. Here r His figures (35 MATCHES, 33 INN, 560 RUNS, Average of 20.00) many times he did not even rch double figures. he plyed his last ODI on 29th Oct 2000. Uploader plz don't delete My comments. I think u r a gr8 Kambli fan but plz accept d fact. "THUMBS UP FRIENDZ IF U AGREE WITH ME"

  • @56881anchal he was recalled to team only during Sachin Captaincy ( both the tenures). During Azahrs captaincy he was kept out coz he knew Azhar was a fixer. So u better find the facts before u comment.

  • even if ur in a bad form.....there should be some reason behind that.....and you know kambli has been raised in a backward family.....and the fucking words they use to discourage the players in the team.....that is really annoying and it disturbs a lot in peoples life...

  • What a precociously gifter player he was. May be one of the 2 most naturally gifted batsmen to emerge from India, the other being Sachin Tendulkar. While Tendulkar was more like a Gavaskar-type material in his early days, having a composed technique with lesser flair, Kambli is the one who looked more flamboyant & thrilling, hitting the ball so casually & effortlessly, much like Brian Lara. Where are Tendulkar & Kambli would sit in the game's history now ?. It's quite sad where the latter ended.

  • @HLANGL "While Tendulkar was more like a Gavaskar-type material in his early days, having a composed technique with lesser flair," LOL you couldn't be more wrong. Sachin was known for how he took on fast bowlers being a young kid. He caught the Indian public's imagination with those sizzling hooks and cuts of great fast bowlers in his early days. Gavaskar doesn't score 82 of 45 balls like Sachin did against Kiwis in 1992.

  • @vishuwalker Sorry, I cannot recall T'kar playing such an explosive innings during the initial phase of his career, in either tests or ODIs. I know he added a whole new dimension to his batting after '94/'95 after being promoted to open the innings in ODIs, but what I had mentioned was before '94/'95, the period in which Kambli enjoyed his success. In fact, I just tried in CricInfo filters as well, but didn't see. Never mind, what I commented was regarding just the initial part of their careers.

  • victim of corruption, everyone fucking knows it but what can you do. Yet another great talent destroyed.

  • sachin and gavaskar combined played politics with kambli.....so that sachin cld shine...sachin is no doubt a very good player.....but poor kambli had to pay the price !!! survival of the fittest and the heavy lobbyist !!

  • most un-lucky players of india -v.kambli,Irphan,nehra,d.kartik,sri ram,laxman,raju,raman lamba,jaffer,kaif,badrinath,ajay jadeja,agarker,

bcoz these guys have talent bot thy dont have god fathers in cricket board

  • even now i can not undrstand y drops him after 96 wc aftrr good perfomence...

this guy had bad luck ...if he play he play in this genaration surely he get more chances after bad performences like-tiwari,vinay kumar, jadeja, vijay, sreshant, munaf, isharma,

  • azhar thematch fixer and yet an M.P. from moradabad v vote these traitors they sell our mother land our country,Surely allah will punish him

  • Kambli's come from Grame Hick cricket school..hehe

  • Kambli was anyday better than ganguly & yuvraj , wasted talent

  • What a batsman - it's still so pleasing to the eye to see him bat - it wasn't Kambli's fault he didn't play longer-it was the fucking peers of his time who were all choir boys compared to the stylish Kambli. If any, his fault was that he was born in the wrong era. Case in point: No one points out Virat Kohli's tattoos and say that he's gone bat shit.

  • A TALAMT WASTED

  • what a talent but wasted his carrier should have played 400 matches and equal tendulkar record pity on lost talent

  • he was very strong onside batsmn

  • "Kambli is greater batsman than sachin as far as talent is concerned, but vinod need to improve in his behavior "-Coach Ramakant Acharekar,Mumbai.

  • Kambli was removed from team because of his doubts regarding azhars involvement in match fixing

  • @rajeshraju02 : Kambli went on to play in 35 ODI's after the 1996 WC with a highest score of 65 (2 fifties in all) at an average of 19... Azhar dropped him for his doubts in match fixing ?... seriously man ...

  • @vemaraju quite true but could u please tell me the reason for dropping him right after the 1996 worldcup..afterall he averaged 53 in that worldcup with a century and couple of good knocks even after coming to bat at number 5..right after this incident he lost his self confidence, belief in the system and his career was ruined..

  • @rajeshraju02 : Your mom told u this?

  • such a tragedy that he got addicted to drugs...........he was so talented

  • His future could hav being much brighter if would hav controlled his confidence.....before turning into overconfidence.......

  • ambrose treated with disdain .... a rare sight in criket

  • Kambli is great batsman...no doubt.

  • wow never seen ambrose treated severely before. kambli is great.

  • @M4st3rm1nd you sure lol go check imran khan vs ambrose or basit ali 127 type those and see my friend
