This is totally amazing Geoff! We didn't know this was available to us when we took a day tripper over to Maggie Island. We are coming back sometime this year to do somemore sightseeing so this might have to be one of those sights we will have to investigate. Thanks for sharing

IT's called Magnetic Island as in 1770 when Capt James Cook was mapping the East Coast his Compass malfunctioned while off the island. He then named it Magnetic Island. One of the few places with a name that old in the whole country.
What a beautiful place. Seeing places like that makes me want to say goodbye to the urban life and go live in a cave. It's a short-lived fantasy but a nice one :-)
I'm heading to Townsville in August for a wedding, we're apparently going to Magnetic Island too, I look forward to it! :) Thanks for showing me around!!!
