@stankalmighty "no i just don't think ron paul would help if he heard his neighbor beating his wife."
That's just stupid. Simply because he doesn't want to step in and referee an argument between others like a nosy busy body, doesn't mean he wouldn't step in to help stop the violence. Way to take the stance to the extreme.
He says "I don't want to police the world" and you hear "F**k the world, I only care about myself." Yeah, THAT'S rational.
Would you call Switzerland isolationist? Would you call Brazil isolationist? I think America's foreign policy is much more akin to the Soviet Union or Rome.
The Soviet Union forcibly held many nations under their rule. Rome did the same. So did the British empire. So did the French. The US does not have colonies, we don't force other nations into our Union. P.S.- Yes, Switzerland is isolationist.
@USN1985dos texas used to be a sovereign nation... besides that we went into iraq and established our own government there... modern day colonization you just dont hear about it at all cuz its not on this side of the planet but we overthru a government on the basis of WMDs and corruption by using bombs and we replaced it with more corruption. only difference is its our corrupt guys not theirs. thats called colonization, or rather in today's terms, Corporatization.

It is Amazing how much Ron Paul sounds like Ronald Reagan and how the modern Republicans don't . The Modern Republican party is losing alot of us conservatives with all the first strike wars and big spending...
PS...I should add that many responsible foreign leaders and foreign citizens look at US politicians and voters and their actions and the stuuuuupid things we do and believe we are all nuts. I have to agre with them.
McCain is beyond redemption. Totally corrupt. Never should have been placed in the position of trust that he has occupied for several decades now. The only good thing about McCain is that he is history and hopefully will soon be relegated to the trash heap of history by the citizens of AZ. Even Vladimir Putin believes McCain is nuts based on his LOOOOONG confinement in the hanoi hilton.
I love Ron Paul! I can't believe this footage is nearly five years old: the same problems face America and the world, though unfortunately things have got a whole lot worse since then. I fear that Ron Paul in 2012 is America's, and the world's, final hope.
Well the problems won't fix themselves, and they naturally get worse if NOT fixed.
But people caused the problem with their stupidity, so why will they fix it?
The majority will always vote based on emotion and their own special-interest, and Ron Paul appeals to neither. America is an empire ruled by an elected oligarchy, which naturally seeks to expand its own power-base via benevolent statism, so tpeople will vote away their freedom until they learn the truth.
Wait. . .are you saying Commodore Perry's Gunboat Diplomacy was an act of war? Could you please explain a little further what you meant by "the US attacked Japan first".
Google Stephen Sniegoski and Pearl Harbor. The US academia and media are paid to validate the hand that feeds them, so they're a little biased when it comes to presenting the way it really happened.
Japan had no interest in making war on the U.S., but FDR left them no chioce-- and naturally the media said no more about it, than the did about his physical illness.... editors wouldn't print anything against FDR, and reporters would get fired for writing it.
Media is biased, that's almost a universal law. xD
I can't seem to find much about who Stephen Sniegoski is though. . .I'll add him to my research roster.
Okay, so was the oil embargo against Japan the first attack you're talking about? I already knew Japan was not planning on going to war with U.S. They're not stupid. they knew they didn't have enough resources to go up against us. However, I thought that the embargoes were because of the Rape of Nanking.
What are you talking about, I googled it to check, along with pearl harbor, and several articles came up When I say google it, I mean GOOGLE it, not Bing or Yahoo!
I'm talking about what Sniegoski explains-- go read it. In fact I donated ten bucks to his website for one article, since it presented accurate information no one else gives.

@captainkudzu If, the more you learn about Dr. Ron Paul, and the more the alarm bells go off, then perhaps it means you don't think too highly of the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
If you live in the United States you might want to look into whether you're in the right country or not.
The US government works on a pattern of grabbing power, and doctoring history to blame the blowback on the LACK of power. For example the Wilson Federal Reserve seized the economy, then blamed capitalism for the Great Depression. Then FDR secretly engaged in acts of war against Japan and Germany, and blamed "isolationism" when they retaliated; and the state-appointed academia/lapdog media concurs.
@MrChowWee ......you are proof of the downward path of mankind into such sinfulness, we are entering the time of Noah as God prophesied. God destroyed the earth with water except for one righteous family, Noah, his wife, their 3 sons and their wives. God wished He had never created mankind for mankind was so evil, all were impure from the seed of the fallen angels. Man is like in those times, doing horrible wickedness, blaspheming God, rebellious, worshipping everything BUT God, lovers of self
If you watch other videos he states that the people who attacked us deserved to be killed, we just have been doing it the wrong way. Our mission to get Osama has Bren far offtrack and it took us over a decade to finally get him. We can't win a war without a clear vision as to what our objective is.
@flowboard04 Ron Paul introduced HR 3076, the September 11 Marque and Reprisal Act of 2001, shortly after 9/11, to go after those responsible, both at the time and in the future. Imagine not losing the lives of over 4,000 troops and all the civilians we've killed with drones, etc.
If this is actually what he beleives Ron Paul has no right to call himself a christian. We had every reason to invade Iraq even if they didn't have wmd's because of what saddam was doing to the kurds. Just like we needed to intervene in libya to protect innocent civilians who simply wanted freedom from a tyrant.
@liberalmike1994 Then jump right in there and go join their rebel forces, stop killing our kids for your thirst for blood. And if you want to bash him as a Christian, you might want to go look up Christian Just War Theory.
@liberalmike1994 but their not Americans though so why should we? You want to risk the lives of our Americans to go save people that don't even like us? lets fix our own country before we start trying to fix the world bud.
Fox news does NOT want Paul as president. They've often said he is an "isolationist" and he can't win. I worry about legalizing drugs, but Ron Paul's outstanding views on other issues is worth taking a chance. I figure drug-users will find what drug they want, legal or not. As far as people calling Paul and "isolationist" Anti-immigrant or intelligent? Before you post, check out this YouTube video about poverty/immigration entitled:
There's no question that FoxNews panders to the hard right, and Rupert Murdoch is pro-interventionist-- as are his hand-picked pundits. However the other media don't take him seriously either as a candidate.
As for legalizing drugs, Ron Paul isn't for that, per se, but he's against the federal government usurping unconstitutional authority to do that. As for the rest: can you say "SMEAR MEDIA"? People are so stupid that they BELIEVE it.
I say Fuck the World. Close the borders. Purge all illegals. Export no food, no technology. We will need to drill more, develop alternative energy sources, convert to hydrogen and natural gas but independence isn't cheap. I remember what OPEC did to America in the early 70's. America cannot allow that to happen again.
If two countries get in a squabble...we're busy. Call Russia. China. You're gonna love those guys.
I'm 100% isolationist. I think America got too full of itself after WWII. The US can kick major ass but to what point? We're vilified everywhere. I've lived in the Middle East, W. Africa, Europe and the US. The US is the ONLY place I didn't have to deal with US animosity. Okay. Fine. You don't like America. Cool. Stay out.
@junkiron1 ...........they come here to change America just like Obama wants to change America (to make it worse, destroy us). Sure the world would hate the US, we don't want to go the way of the World and why would we? They want a New World Order, with one Dictator, with no money for buying or selling, this order wants every single weapon of every country in their hands (don't think you can trust them, they are evil), One World Religion with the dictator being worshipped. This is all evil.
@bass109 ....first they must be born-again true Christians, pray to Jesus Christ ONLY (the rosary is just a man-made thing that man made it up & is nothing that God commanded to be made or used for Him). Seek the Will of God and ask according to the Will of God, God doesn't give you everything you want for HE knows what is best for you and what the future holds. Obey God, Love God more than anything else, become born again through Jesus Christ & allow Jesus to be Savior and Lord of your life.
non-interventionist = best possible policy for America and our economy, imo.
Our military is too stretched out, we make too many enemy's, being the world's policement and giving so much money to countries is hard work and costs too much, and just concentrating on ourselves will help our economy a hundred-fold.
The only thing is to combat terrorism, but honestly, the more we are in the middle least, the more terrorists their are to fight us. its counter-productive. GO USA! NONINTERVENTION!
@stater68 LOL. How did you get that from me talking about American foreign policy? I simply stated my opinion that I think a non-interventionist foreign policy is the right move for this country.
@Jeremy1281988 .....it would be nice if the world wouldn't depend upon us as the World's policemen AND those who hate us are those who would hate anyone who is different than they are and those who hate us are those who want to dominate/control the world-ie Muslims because of their false prophet and pagan teachings that Muhammad had put into parchments along with distorted Torah, Biblical Scriptures, and Gnostic stories while sitting around the fire with them as they told their stories.
@Jeremy1281988 .....America was a "BLESSED NATION" when we did as our Founding Fathers taught us and through the direction of God and His Word, the Bible. But when people become stingy in giving of themselves whether in doing physical work/help for others or financial help (our allies), then we loss some blessings because we are disobeying our creator. No matter where we fight the evil of Terrorism, it will become more abundant, we aproach the End of Times and evil becomes more and worse.
@Aryaba ......You have that right! Every American has lost and in more than one way, we are hungry spiritually even though many are blind in this area & this is the most important area for all of mankind. People are angry, rebellious, mockers, theives, liars, adulterers (as Jesus said, we commit adultery just thinking about it in our hearts), we don't honor our parents, we don't remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy, we are selfish and lazy, we all are filthy inside & in need of Jesus.
@punkin7733 Give me proof of a Christ and I'll give you proof of a two-headed unicorn. Your morality is cute but following a person of mythology based off of pagan religion which is essentially an augmented Jewish sun god that preaches monotheistic ideologies doesn't make you sound rational or intelligent, but instead dumb and nonsensical. Maybe all these negatives your spewing out of your ass is a reflection of yourself or the brainwashed dipshits you surround yourself with?

@EnyavduM Every American lost, not just Ron Paul supporters.
